Reaching out by WhatsApp was a nice try but I would rather they not do that if they are going to use bots with their responses. The lifts take super long to arrive and are not air-conditioned. Still, at this price there are worse places to stay.

It was a bit difficult to check in the hotel at early morning time at 2:30 am because the lobby door was closed. The room was clean and nice, but there was no water provided in the room.

I had a great stay! The room was very clean, well-maintained, and smelled fresh. Everything was neat and tidy, which made it really comfortable to relax. Definitely appreciated the attention to cleanliness—would stay here again!

The room was ok, clean, basic and tidy. Nice swimming pool on 53th floor with a nice view of KL. The only complain is that the lift is slow and crowded, have to leave 10 mins to wait for the lift every time

Fantastic value for money. Locate 5 minutes walk from Sentral. It’s in the Indian neighborhood so there’s great food options. 3 minutes walk to the nearest public transport station. Everything in the building is new and clean. Nice staff. It’s a serviced apartment, not a hotel. You’re in the city centre in 15 minutes by monorail. Would highly recommend if you can get it for a good price. The picture is the view from my room (43 floor).

The entire Kuala Lumpur city can be viewed beautifully from the window at night. If you’re looking for a short vacation in the city, I would recommend this hotel. However, the service from the staff at the counter was very bad. I was asked to leave although I have paid for 2 nights. And the staff had the audacity to chase me away like I’m sort of a beggar. I was very disappointed with how bad the staff treated me. Poor management and poor customer service from the customer care line. Moreover, the lift was broken for almost an hour that caused some changes in my planned. It is as if the building was not completed well. All in all, it was only good for its view and amenities that allows you to use several public transports.

decided to give this hotel a try despite the mixed reviews about this place. so heres my take on Riveria City KL Sentral by Archos! lets start with the pros of this place; - this hotel is located VERY near to their Monorel/Monorail Station, Tun Sambanthan. This lime green Monorail line can bring you to the most visited places like Berjaya Times Square (Imbi Station), Pavilion/Lot 10/Starhill/Farenheit88 (Bukit Bintang Station). this hotel is also located near KL Sentral Station! if you wish to travel elsewhere, KL Sentral offers various transportation options towards almost anywhere you want to travel to as thats like their MAJOR metro/train hub! Grab rides are also easy to find in my opinion, if youre lazy to walk 3 mins to the Monorail Station, you can always book your Grab rides to your desired destinations. - another pros of this hotel, you get quite a sweet view of famous landmarks of KL (Petronas Twin Towers, Menara KL and Merdeka 118 - the 2nd tallest building in the world). best view is to go up to their Sky Pool at night and you get that nice cool breeze and city view of KL. if youre lucky and you have sharp eyes, you can actually see Genting Highlands too in the distance!! - another pros of this place, as a solo traveller, the rooms are very minimalist and spacious! theres aircon and fan options, TV offers a Netflix, Youtube and other streaming apps to watch, comfy and bouncy beds, a small kitchen stove with simple kitchen appliances & cutlery + a kettle! okay so thats all the pros for me. now heres the cons of the place; - the waiting for the lifts. when i read some reviews here, a lot of them said the lift waiting time is soooo long. before i got here i did think to myself, "man how bad can it be?". well, now i get it. the building itself is shared by other hotel partners who are under Riveria City KL as well. if i remember correctly, there are 3 or 4 different counters to check-in and out from. so with that in mind, there are 54 levels in total with 4 lifts for the entire building, 1 of the lift i assume is used for staff members ONLY or they labelled it as "lift bomba". check-ins are a breeze but waiting to go up to your rooms is not. imagine after a long day out, youre tired and sweaty, all you want is to quickly get into your rooms to shower and rest, but the lift is not cooperating. for that, yes it sucks. and to go down from your level to the lobby is the same. it does take ages for the lift to arrive. so you have to go out slightly earlier if you have plans for the day. - another cons of the hotel, is cleanliness. theres no room service for my room, im not sure about the others, theres a notice in the room that states we cant throw our rubbish outside of the room for the room service attendant to clear. with that info, i was not told where to throw my rubbish if my bins were full. i did see some guests bringing their rubbish in blue bin bags with them when they left the hotel. assuming we have to throw our rubbish outside, i went to the nearest green bin i can find which is near the Tun Sambanthan Station and disposed my rubbish bags there. apart from this, my room was slightly dusty. what i always do if i enter a hotel, i'd use a tissue to do a quick swipe of tables, chairs and bed's headrest, thats how i knew my room was not cleaned or dusted when i came. this hotel is very nice, very conveniently located, and affordable too! not gonna lie, i might come back again for my solo trip for my birthday!

extremely bad experience with the customer service and the overall experience with archos we booked a “premium 2 bed room” but was only given 1 card access. this doesn’t make sense; this is a dual key room - there are two separate bedrooms and 3 of us who aren’t travelling together side by side all the time. having only one card means that we have to all leave and return to the hotel at the same time. when we asked for an extra card, they refused, saying that “Yes only 1 card provide,as we didn't mention in listing that this is comes with dual key, provide only with 1 key.” they also refused to answer my call when i asked to speak to the manager, rudely ignoring my call. unacceptable service next, they provided dirty towels (see pics). then, when i asked for them to replace it, they said that they didn’t have enough - as a hotel service, shouldn’t you have MORE than enough stock? how can you only have just enough towels, and say you’ve run out of clean towels? worse, i let them know of the issue on thursday night. then on friday, they said they didn’t have enough for us (only 2, i needed 3). they said they would give me the other one on saturday - didnt give me on saturday. when i asked on sunday, they said once again they were out of towels. this is unacceptable! i am staying 4 nights and was left with stained, SMELLY towels on my very first night. very ironic of them since they pasted so many warnings that we would get fined if we stained the sheets or towels ?!?! now onto the building itself - this is a building of 50++ storeys, with only 4 lifts. horrible lift system - we stayed on 25th floor and waited for over 20 minutes just to get to a lift that wasn’t too full by the time it reached our floor 😡😡😡

Best location with good view. KL Sentral is in walking distance and too many restaurants. Loved it ❤️

Amazing view with good location. Just 3 mins walk to NU sentral. But the elevator traffic was packed.

Hotel Experience: Beautiful but Full of Hassles – Unfortunately, Only 2 Stars At first, I intended to give this hotel 5 stars because the room was clean, the view was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. However, the following experiences made me reconsider and lower the rating to 2 stars. 1. Unpleasant experience at the pool On both days of our stay, we were disturbed by the security guard when we went to the pool. He claimed our swimwear was “inappropriate,” even though it was normal swimwear. On the second day, he even asked my girlfriend to remove her outer tank top in order to stay at the pool. When I asked for just 15 more minutes to swim, since we were leaving Kuala Lumpur the next day, he only allowed 5 minutes and threatened to call the manager. This kind of treatment made us feel disrespected — which is why I deducted 1 star. 2. Trash disposal issue and late-night disturbance We left a bag of trash outside the room — something we saw other guests do — expecting housekeeping to take care of it. However, at around 10:00 PM, someone started knocking aggressively on our door. The knocking got louder and more intense, making us feel scared as if someone was trying to break in. When I finally opened the door, it was a security guard asking if the trash was ours. I said yes, and he insisted I follow him to another room to dispose of it myself. Even when I offered to take the trash back into the room and deal with it in the morning, he refused. So I had to follow him outside to throw it away — and by then it was already 10:25 PM. We were exhausted and needed rest for an early flight the next day. He later explained that his poor English made it hard to communicate — but that doesn’t justify disturbing guests so late at night. 3. Poor customer service from the front desk What disappointed us the most was how poorly the front desk handled the situation. When the aggressive knocking happened, I tried calling them — no one picked up. I sent a message saying we were scared because the banging was getting louder, but they just replied things like “we’ll send someone up” and asked us to record a video and send it to security — while we were still in fear. Even after more than 10 minutes, there was no concrete action from their side. This lack of support was unacceptable and led me to deduct 2 more stars. In summary: • Pros: Clean room, nice view, front desk helped us keep a pair of glasses we accidentally left behind. • Cons: Inappropriate behavior from the security guard, poor response from the front desk, and disturbing guests late at night. I hope the hotel seriously considers this feedback and improves their service. This is a genuine experience from our stay, and I hope readers take it into consideration before booking.
