The Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel

Checked in this hotel for 2 nights stayed. Good location, walking distance to pavilion, Bukit Bintang , etc. Hotel ambiance was cozy, clean, spacious. We were welcomed with a glass of orange juice, check in staff were attentive, checked-in process was fast. We booked double room for 2 adults 1 kid, room was spacious & clean. Hotel was thoughtful as well, there is a welcome card with welcome message by the manager, welcome snacks in the room, toiletries were well equipped too. Bed is soft but pillow is not that comfortable but depending on individual like. Overall were good except our room's aircon was not cold (18 degree celcius), we get the housekeeping guy to check and he get someone to check, the guy told us will check after we went out, because there were water dripped from the ceiling as well, but too bad when we back to the room on that night still the same, I guess no one is settling the issue, but because we are checking out next day morning so we didn't inform Recep to either change room or check. One more to highlight about the hotel carpark, when we check out we were told the car park is chargeable at rm10 per day, but normally hotel guest should get complimentary parking.

The location is very near to MRT location. The staff is very friendly. Check in and check out very fast.

I got a room with a good view of Kuala Lumpur, they have a restaurant opposite of the hotel and other popular attractions in Bukit Bintang is just nearby and reachable via walking. Gate F from the MRT station is the nearest exit to reach the hotel. The surrounding is not too loud as the hotel is not directly located by the main road, so you can get a good sleep after a whole day of touring the city. I was here for a birthday staycation and they did deliver with the decor and the wish card.

On trip - our family room it wrote 2 bedrooms but in the end it’s only 2 beds. Not room but the hotel staff Vincent & Manager was kind to give us a good rate for the room. Room was huge and convenient to Pavilion however THE street noise was horrible, we couldn’t sleep well for the 2 nights stay. Saw it was built in 2015, the aesthetic of the facade was IGworthy however the rooms need to upgrade to keep up to the standards. We stayed on level 4, so the noise level was bad, hope they can looked into installing thicker windows for the sake of all guests.

Not bad for 3 stars hotel. 3-5pm daily with complimentary tea and some cakes. View ok, for this price, it matched

If you want a hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel is the best place to stay. With the nicest staff I have ever met.

Located in downtown but a very narrow alley which lead traffic jam and many driver don’t know where it is. Room is big but furniture not in good quality equal to 3 star or even more lower level little hotels. Especially point out , outlet can not use, My laptop can not work for a whole night. Receptionist well done, nice talking make you feel in home. Wish room get new decoration for gust better stay feeling.
