The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location—just a short walk to the lively city center. The room was clean, airy, and beautifully maintained. Highly recommend!

A very good hotel with excellent cleanliness and warm hospitality. Conveniently located within a short walking distance to both the MRT and monorail station. The complimentary teatime they offer is also a nice touch and quite enjoyable.

We loved our short stay at the Journal hotel. The location is perfect - close to the PETRONAS Towers, shopping, hop-on hop-off bus and the monorail, but tucked away in a side street. The hotel is clean, the room size is great. Between 3 and 5 pm the hotel provides complimentary refreshments - light food and snack options - these were amazing both days. The buffet breakfast is good. The variety is not huge but definitely enough. The hotel has a visiting 'resident cat', Donny. He can be seen on the steps of the hotel entrance most times, adding extra charm.

Free teatime with some fruits and snacks, simple yet tasty breakfast and good service. The pillow is not comfortable.

Journal hotel was great! Location is very strategic, just 5 mins walk away from bukit bintang. Hotel & the room is clean with good amenities, pool was small but enough as not many people utilised it. Would come back!

Location and staff services is number one.. however, hotel had been opening for awhile, thing getting run down. Especially the TV is due for upgrading .. limited channel and is analog TV.. like return to past..food wise is not as great as before， overall a good hotel to stay but can skip the breakfast.

We have stayed in a few hotel around Bukit Bintang area but so far we liked this hotel best. It is located within walking distance to the main shopping belt but the area is not overly busy at night. Easy to get around the area and very near to Jalan Alor. They provided afternoon tea for guests, wines, snack, fruits coffee & tea. In the evening they provide green or red bean soup too. There is also a cute resident cat always hanging outside of the hotel too. Service is great too, very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back and stay in this hotel for our future trip.

The hotel itself has a modern, trendy vibe with thoughtful design touches throughout. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a great city view. The bed was cozy, and the rainfall shower was a refreshing treat after a day out. One of the highlights was the rooftop pool and bar—it’s a perfect spot to relax in the evening with great city views and a cool atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was also lovely, with a good mix of local and Western options. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Their service really made our stay feel personal and welcoming. Highly recommended for couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a stylish and central place to stay in Kuala Lumpur. Will definitely come back!

Outstanding hotel in great location- from the free afternoon Buffett to the excellent rooftop pool and the very well appointed rooms- this place is top notch - highly recommended

Room’s lights not bright enough, sound proof was bad can heard people was talking outside the room, toilet floor a lot of water mark and bedsheet a lot of stamped and blanket dirty as shown in the photo not sure whether wash or change before so disgusting. Parking lot also limited and the cargo lift from the car park to the lobby was smelly. Other than that overall are fine hope the cleanliness can be improve.

Great location, great customer service, nice pool. There is also nice food and drinks served as complimentary tea time refreshment. Will come back again.
