De Palma Resort Kuala Selangor recensioner

At first glance, the resort looks like it will be a wonderful place to stay! It looks nice upon entering, the staff at the front desk is friendly, the areas around the huts are cute! But when you enter, that’s where you start to form a very different opinion. First when you enter, the power has been shut off, so the first hour is spent in muggy heat, waiting for the AC to chase away the humidity, then when you look closer, not a single thing is clean. There are bugs EVERYWHERE, especially on the night tables and along the bed headboard, the sheets and pillows are stained, yellow, brown, blood, dirt, everything you can imagine (not even mentioning the tons of hairs that belonged to neither my partner or myself). The bathroom is tiny, which I wouldn’t care about if it was clean… the drain had toothpaste caps from previous people stuck in it, the walls clearly hadn’t been wiped down, there was mold along the the sink(and bugs), the toilet had a dark ring, … The shower was pathetic. If you use the shower head and turn it slightly to angle it towards you arm, the water struggles to find it’s way out of the shower head. A child had been practicing their writing previously because the walls of the closet were covered in words, and everything was just grimy and in disrepair. This hotel has the bones to be high quality, but they seriously need to take a look at basic cleanliness first.

the room abit small and abit dirty. found out the ants and spider and lizard at the room. but the environment so far is good.

Located at the old town of Kuala Selangor, nearby attractions to Bukit Malawati, Sky Mirror, Penambang Town. Preferably with own transport will make it easier to move around. The ambiance is like small houses resort, in quite and peaceful areas, except alot of jungle monkeys moving around, so don’t leave food outside. Facilities is quite well prepared and if you request anything, the office will try to provide to you. Services was good. To improve, is the breakfast service which the selection was limited. My first day breakfast at 7am, the food was abundant. My second day breakfast at 8.30am, the food almost done without replenishment. Need to ask the staff and only after few minutes it was topped up.

If you are about to explore Bukit Malawati, this hotel is the best choice. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. We are unable to explore other facilities but I believe that they have shuttle service to some attractions.

Fast check in & check out. Excellent front office service. Good breakfast.

Clean room.. can still accommodate extra bed for triplet chalet. Food is ok. Resort is suitable for team building or family day.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable.

Chalet type resort..good room and bed with variety of breakfast..just water pressure a bit slow
