The Happy 8 Retreat @ Kuala Sepetang recensioner

The accommodation is just next to the jetty for boat trip. There's no signboard so find the Kang Kao restaurant and it's just on the G floor. I booked a family room with a bunk bed, only to realise there's no window. Tried calling the accom but both phones number not working. Ended up emailing them from the email provided in their website. managed to get changed of room with balcony. Simple room, no TV no WiFi provided. Shower is open top, hot water provided.

Overall the stay was fine. Negative point were no lift and the bed was hard.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very unique and great thought was put into the setup of each room. Enjoying the nice sea view from the room balcony.

Location very near to jeti for island hoping. Wall drawing was nice. Quite number of insects (i.e. cockroaches) paying us a visit despite no food been brought inside the room. TV without channels and no WiFi services available. during the stay

Shower no hot water Nobody at reception counter Cafe is not operated Bedroom size very small just enough to accommodate a double bed Bathroom is dark At night very noisy karaoke until 2am Noise from fishing boat started at 4am No lift we're both senior citizens stay at 2nd floor

Above 300 hundred hotel no lift very inconvenient Hot water just min is gone become cool water Because using solar panels At night 2 big dog sleeping on hotel lobby block entrance very smelly

Seriously the worst homestay I have stayed. You can book the family room with view if you want to have sleepless night. The wall is so thin that I can hear the conversation next door and the room next door was so noisy! And also the boat sound that’s so loud! Basically it was a sleepless night for us and thanks God we only stayed for one night and that’s more than enough!

Nice, unique & interesting place to stay! Not quite advisable for elderly cos no lift Seaview unit Cosy & memorable 👍👍

Room and location very good

Noisy..can not relax

a unique hotel and best experienced in my life & families.. just need to put signage hotel at front hotel and road side. overall it was amazing. Kampung style inside the hotel..keep it up!
