Tebing Guest House Taman Negara Malaysia Kuala Tahan

Me and my family stayed at Tebing GuestHouse in Taman Negara, and it was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend for anyone visiting Taman Negara. The combination of excellent accommodation, outstanding service, and prime location makes it the perfect base for exploring this incredible national park. We will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful stay at Tebing Guest House. We experienced the beauty of Taman Negara - but also we experienced the warm people and hospitality of the little town outside Taman Negara called Kuala Tahan. Of course, the special hospitality of Rani, the host and staff at the guest house deserves a special mention. Rani has a keen eye and makes sure the guest house is run efficiently. He and his team can help recommend the best travel options for getting in/out of Taman Negara. In our case, they arranged for our travel to and from Jerantut. We stayed at Tebing Guest House for 4 nights. Here are a few notes travelers might find useful. Location: Kuala Tahan sits right at the entrance of the park, across the river. Tebing guest house is located right on the river bank with a breakfast area overlooking the river and the forest. The location is absolutely lovely. A short walk along the river - 300 meters - leads to the ferry crossing boats. Ferry crossings are quick and only 1 RM per person. Breakfast: Their breakfast is full service and fantastic. It comes with egg/omelette, toast, jams, cakes and baked items and rotating local hot dishes such as Nasi Goreng, Char Kway Teow, Roti Canai, etc. Breakfast Tip - Be sure to get the Banana Pancake. I've never had a better pancake!!!! Breakfast Tip - The lookout from the breakfast area along the riverside is a great place to spot birds in the morning. Be sure to take your binoculars. Activities - There is no need to "search around" for the "best deals" for activities. The activities offered through Tebing are super reasonable and they get the best local people for the job. We went for a safari experience that was extraordinary!

You can’t expect a lot for this price. The rooms were clean, the airco worked fine. The shower cold, no fridge, bed very hard. People very kind and helpfull! Location super! Breakfast 15myr simple but oke.

We booked directly with owner ,Free parking , took the package tour of rm370 per person (includes 2 night accommodation, 2 breakfast , 1 packed lunch , 2 dinner , activities of canopy walk , guide fees , orang asli village visit , rapid shooting boat ride ,4x4 night safari ) which exclude the lata berkoh boat ride rm250 per boat for 4 person . Overall a clean guesthouse with friendly owner and his family , room got air conditioning, water heater , kettle , tea and coffee , nearby to taman negara , all activities start from here , walk to the river behind the guesthouse to take boat ride to taman negara . Highly recommend to stay here .

The hostel is very comfortable, rooms, beds.. and clean. They help us with everything, they can arrange transports, activities, what ever you want. We recommend Tebing if you come to Taman Negara. Thank you so much to Fadhil “Padel” for helping us with the thousand things we ask him!

We booked a night boat safari with Tebing and it was amazing! The owner was really nice and told us everything about Taman Negara and the area whilst waiting for the tour to begin. We'd forgotten our dry bag and were immediately offered one to borrow. The safari itself was really nice and relaxing and our guide went the extra mile (literally) as it was too busy in the beginning to see any animals. When we arrived back at Tebing guesthouse they offered to drive us back to our lodge as it was raining. All in all a great experience we would definitely recommend! (And next time I'll probably stay in Tebing Guesthouse just to enjoy the hospitality even more)
