Damai Beach Resort recensioner

Overall very nice resort, kids like it very much. Alot activities as the pool and the beach are nearby, easy to play around two side. The food in the hotel nice too. But there is no parking lot for the hills room take the luggage up for walking up 3 level staircase, difficult for the elderly as once they back the hotel will not willing to step out anymore.

The check in process was smoothly done as it was not a peak season on fasting month. We enjoyed our stay even though it rained a bit. Room size is really spacious for the pool side standard two queen room at 43m2. The view around the hill top suites with Mt Santubong at the back drop was wonderful. The breakfast was okay with some western and continental spread, including Sarawak Laksa. I'm glad the chocolate muffin was not sweet at all, perfect for my kids and myself :)

Friendly reception staff. The room conditions very well maintained. AC & Shower good. Breakfast good, staff restaurant friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we found blood stains at duvet cover after we check in. The staff already change to new one. Thanks for fast response.

Room is spacious with a nice bath tub. Nice and quiet as it was off season. Pool was clean and beach was nice. Some safety issue in that 2 of the barrister on the balcony was loose.

The front desk staff was very helpful when we requested to change from the hilltop room to the chalet on the ground floor. This made it easy for us to go to the beach and swimming pool. We love that there is a wooden platform for us to enjoy the waves, and take photos with the beach at the background.

View is very nice! If you want to spend peacefull holiday, please do not Come on scholl holiday. Just to comment about the breaksfast meals. It is sama menu every time i came. I dont know why? I belives there are people felt same as me. Their Chicken curry very bored! The omellete also taste burnt because of the pan, not because of the cooker.

Went during high tide so nt much sea activity. Hard to go to the beach as no road. Plenty of rock which is hard to go. TV outdated, nearby seafood pack and waited two hours. Nt much of a traveller myself so can't say u all will like or nt

Overall experience was good. The family enjoyed the stay. But there's room for improvement.. We were given a room facing the back yard of the building even though we booked a room facing the pool. I did ask for change but was told all rooms were already occupied, even though we were amongst the earliest to check in and many others came later after us but given room facing the pool.

Check in check out process improved a lot, short waiting time. Happy about this. Just a little weird stint spot on one blanket and two pillow cases (😁) Breakfast buffet food variety can be improved.

Room 635 full of leaking and moldy issues. We found small cockroaches inside the bathroom. We’ve have been to Damai beach resort for many years but this time is the worst experience. Kindly take care about the hygiene issue. Thanks.

Totally not recommended, hotel has very low occupancy but we were told during check-in hotel is fully booked and not much room to choose. People were Totally but service is bad.

The place is good, just lack of maintenance. A lot of broken areas are not repaired. For example, equipments in gym room.

It's a relaxing spot and a great playground for kids. They enjoy the place with the sound of the sea and the swimming pool.
