Yun nan Song yi Hotel(Kunming Railway Station) recensioner

Excellent service. We are new to China so they helped us out to work out Alipay, bus and metro transport. Our stay was very pleasant, great city views. And we had access to washer which was very good after 3 weeks of travel.

The room is clean, smoke-free and has great views of Kun Ming City.

Great place to stay. Close to the train station and underground rail system.  The receptionist was very helpful as well.  Made our stay a great one given the language barrier.

Good location near Kunming railway station. The hotel is in the building floor 28. Quite confused if you cannot speak Chinese.

The train station is within walking distance, and there are plenty of 24-hour food options nearby. The front desk is also available 24 hours. We arrived at 3:30 AM and had no issues checking in.

The location is nice, 10mins walk from the railway station. Hotel staff is friendly and the room is clean.

The hotel is very difficult to find on map. Once you are in the area, make sure to find a building with the word 3 栋. The hotel is I think one storey on the 28th floor of the building. Because it is one floor, I really enjoyed the ease of going to the front counter to ask questions or to use the washing machine for free. That was a benefit I didnt think about before. The staff are really friendly and helpful. If you are planning to go to the stone forest, I do recommend asking the front counter staff to sign you up for the day tour as it was really convenient and at a very reasonable price. I personally liked my room even with no windows, it felt really cozy. We all know Yunnan has crazy sunrays so no windows gave me a break from that. In terms of location, this hotel is about 5-10min walk to a bus stop that takes you to old street and the shopping area. I would say its not convenient at all to walk to the Kunming metro station but because taxi is pretty cheap, what I did was take a taxi to the metro station when I needed to take the train.

Very convenient for travelling using high speed train or metro. Friendly and helpful staff.

I recently stayed at Yun Nan Song Yi Hotel near Kunming Railway Station, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is highly accessible, especially for travelers using the railway, which made our stay very convenient. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable—our room was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The facilities were also excellent, providing everything we needed for a comfortable visit. However, while the service was generally good, there was one incident that prevents me from giving it an excellent rating. Despite placing the "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, the cleaning staff entered our room and cleaned while we were out. To make matters worse, they left the door wide open, and we only discovered this upon returning in the evening. Fortunately, nothing was missing, but it was a significant oversight. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for its location, cleanliness, and facilities, but I hope they address the issue of staff respecting guests' privacy signs for an even better experience.

A comfy hotel on the 28th floor with a fantastic view.

Good location, 10 min walk to Kunming Railway Station. It's not so easy to find the place though. The hostel is located on the 28th floor of the building.

I took online taxi to the hotel from the airport which cost just ard 50rmb. It will be easier as well if you have big luggage, as walking to and from station actually took effort. Overall the room was good with good view towards the city.

Clean, good hotel with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the hotel was far from the sightseeing points where I wanted to go. But I still liked the hotel. Very welcoming. Thank you 😊
