City Comfort Inn (Kunming Changshui International Airport Yunlifang Branch)

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Although the advertisement says 22sqm, it looks bigger than a 30sqm room. Everything is clean and functional. The service was also excellent. But please be aware airport drop off is NOT 24hour, as what trip.com had advertised. The airport drop off service is only up to 2pm in the afternoon. If your flight is any later, it depends entirely on whether they are going to the airport to pick up arriving passengers. If there are no arriving passengers after 2pm, they will NOT drop you off at the airport. We had originally booked the hotel hoping to check out at 1am to catch a 3am flight. The hotel said they don’t do drop off after 2pm (we checked in before 530pm, giving them more than 6hrs notice to send us to the airport at 1am). In the end we had to make do when they informed us they were going to pick up passengers at 12am and could send us to the airport at that time (by chance only, not guaranteed!!). We still want to commend their excellent service but must warn trip.com not to put up false advertisement to mislead customers. The hotel is very far from the airport, calling a cab at night may be inconvenient and expensive.

Excellent hotel for the price. Hotel provides free airport pickup and drop offs. I emailed them for wechat address and then communicated with them via wechat. Our flight was too early to sample the 7am breakfast start. Hotel is ground floor (L2) reception , and two floors (3 & 4) for rooms. And breakfast room. As is very common in China, another hotel shares the reception area and has rooms on L4&5. Hotel is located in a little estate with about a dozen hotels., some residential, and various restaurants and shops. If I transit Kunming airport again I'll likely have this hotel at the top of my list

Very good location if you want to stay near to airport, otherwise it is quite far from city. There are a lot of eateries and convenient shops nearby. They provide good breakfast too.

The hotel is really clean. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They offered the airport pick up and drop off service. We had a good stay there.

My flight arrived in the wee hours 2am hence we opted to stay in an airport hotel before heading to the city. Fantastic option as airport transfer/transport is provided. Could book it via communicating on WeChat, and also called the front desk using a China SIM when we arrived. Waited for about 10-15 minutes after informing them we’ve cleared immigration. The room we booked was very spacious and clean with the amenities we need. One bed was bigger than a super single so it was very comfortable. Breakfast was included as well. Great for a short stay to rest. It was very affordable! Would highly recommend!
