Z Hotel (Kunming Dianchi Shenghuo Meixue)

You may ask why we had to come back to this hotel after visiting Lijiang and Dali, the answer is definite! Combined with the beautiful city scenery, people can feel the unique cultural atmosphere and humanistic charm of Kunming. There are various restaurants and specialty shops on the cultural and tourism street within a hundred meters , it is a very unique experience., I would say the most memorable thing in Z Hotel is the ladies in the kitchen, they cook up a feast, My Goodness! Fruit and veggies are incredibly fresh and delicious, they even offered Starbucks Coffee is a Bonus!

If there was a 6th star, it would be for the service. From check in, to check out, the staff always went above and beyond to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. You could feel the genuine warmth from the team there and it hands down beat the established 5 star hotels. Best service, ever. So good, that we cancelled another hotel stay in Kunming to return to this hotel for our last night.

Beautiful hotel in a very cool area. The staff were so helpful and provided such a personal and customised experience. You can preorder your breakfast from a set menu and the food was nutritious and tasty. The staff advised to call the hotel after booking as they can sent a golf cart to pick you up, as cars are not allowed into the actual area. They drive you in and out of the area via golf cart as needed. Highly highly recommended.

Staff was super friendly and proactive with ensuring we had a comfortable stay. Picked us up and dropped us off in a golf cart since we had our luggages. Room was super aesthetic, just like the photos and we received free wristbands to enter the Water Splashing Festival. Highly recommend and can’t wait to be back!

This hotel has been top tier in every part of our stay! From the beginning, Gu Yu (our butler) has contacted us for the pick from the gate as car are not able to drive through the village, we were welcomed with rose cake and tea during check in and welcome fruits in the fruit. In the hotel, they also provided complimentary drinks and snacks!Gu Yu contact us daily for breakfast selection and time! Everything is prepared fresh daily and food was quality and served fast! We were also given evening soup when we came back to our hotel in the evening. They also provide daily Starbucks coffee when asked so this is definitely a plus for coffee drinker!! When we head out for activities ; Gu Yu is always there to accommodate us with drop off and pickup golf cart to the main entrance almost immediately! Gu Yu was there every day to accompany with us top tier services! She is the absolute sweetest helping with our heavy luggage’s. She is Definitely the highlights of our entire hotel stay ♥️ I love that this hotel is at a peaceful and serene area; away from the busy city center! I definitely will recommend this hotel if you are looking for a high quality and luxury hotel!!

Amazing stay. Staffs were very welcoming and polite. Location is good there’s a lot that you can explore around the hotel. Less than 30 min ride to big shopping centres and XiShan scenic spot. Love it.
