OK… let me start by saying that although I live in China that I am a Westerner…. This hotel is definitely aimed at local tourism, if you are a westerner then look at something else… it’s a very basic hotel, had issues booking in as it was in my wife’s name and there was someone else there with the same name. Squat toilet, no aircon, a wall fan, hand basin leaking (fixed by manager) but a great location near the lakes and park… also close to metro when you finally work out how to find it

It's near metro station, a couple of main roads and the famed Green Lake (翠湖). Many eateries around and convenient stores are everywhere. In addition to the Green Lake, Kunming Old Street, Yuantong Temple (圆通禅寺) and Yuanxi Road (园西路) are all within walking distance. A very convenient location.
It's located right across from a kindergarten so it's quiet at night. The room is on 3rd floor and we have to go through an unsheltered area to reach. When raining, the path could be slippery. The room is spacious, comfortable and airy. The only issue is having a faint cigarette smell even we requested a non-smoking room.
A great feature is that guests are allowed to use the washing machine and hang laundry.

The hotel is nice and clean in a very good location, in just a few minutes walking you are in Cui Hu Lake, near all the nice cafes and restaurants. The staff is friendly and very helpful in everything you need. In Kunming we will definitely come back!

Nice little place, overall ok for a short stay prior to airport. I was staying on the 3rd floor. The stairways leading to the 3rd floor is rather steep, slippery and not sheltered. Pretty dangerous on a wet day.

Great location, very close to Cui Lake and easy to get around. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Attentive and willing to help with all means. I need to send a parcel the uncle took us all the way to the nearby Cainiao. Thank you will come back again.

Room ok but no heating as it is written in the description. During the night the room was around 6-7°... Very cold outside the bed. Not recommended on this point.
