Surtel Hotel

We are currently staying at surtel hotel. The first couple of days were very lovely here. The hotel location is amazing and the views from the bar are very nice. But the bar and wait staff really let the place down. At the begining it was easy ignore but it is really creating a bad atmosphere here for us. I asked to speak to a manager who was out. I was told a time to return and when I did, the manager has completely ignored me. They refuse to give you ice unless you tip them. We wanted to order some extra drinks because the bar closed at eleven and we told no. We won't let them ruin our stay but I'd only recommend staying here if you can ignore bad manners. It's location will no doubt always make it busy but I'd sleep here only if I returned.

Hasret really showed me the best of the best of Turkish hospitality. For any question we had, he had an answer and he was just so helpful. We stayed at Surtel Hotel for 23 nights and the best thing is that it's in heart of the city so everything is 5 minutes walk. Food is great, all of the hotel staff are always friendly and ready to help with a smile and there's even a bar by the pool on the rooftop which offers you an amazing view of the city. Cleaning lady does very good job and she is really kind. I don't usually give 5 star rating easy to places as I can be picky sometimes, however, Surtel hotel and Hasret definitively deserve my recommendation. If I come again to Kuşadasi, I will have this hotel in mind for sure! An absolute 10/10 experience!

The hotel needs massive renovations in every way! Everything is very old and rusty. However, if you are not picky by nature, it is a very good place to sleep and take a shower. The food is good, for 7 nights I didn't really know what I was eating because there was no label for each dish. There were some Turkish and Russian salads, pasta with ketchup and sausages, I didn't like the soups at all, they weren't inviting. There were only two types of hot food, mainly heated or fried semi-prepared foods. Overall, the food was ok as long as you had something in your stomach, but not something substantial. The waiters were very nice people, very respectful, especially Selcuk and Murat. We had a lot to discuss with them, and every time they made us feel very good. I saw that a lot of guests were wasting food, you have to do something about it because there are people who don't have anything to eat, and others are making fun of it. Kusadasi is a very nice place, we felt good. I recommend you to exchange your money in Turkish lira, if it is the first time you visit Turkey. The chances of being cheated when you want to buy something are very high. Many bazaars where you actually had to agree with the sellers on a price because they didn't have the prices displayed. There are no displayed prices even in the corner stores. It's a whole mess. Traffic is total chaos. All in all, it was a nice vacation, and I think we will come back next year, but definitely not in this hotel.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. I specify that the reservation was made by the travel agency with which I went on the trip. So: the hotel is old, unrenovated, unkempt. The linen is old, worn or even torn. The shower door is replaced with a worn and dirty PVC curtain. The condensate from the air conditioning unit flows into a plastic bottle, which I had to empty, otherwise the terrace fills with water, having the drain blocked. The hotel's express request, displayed in the bathrooms, is that the used toilet paper be thrown in the trash, not in the toilet!!!! (21st century) Wifi is just an illusion, it doesn't work at all in hotel rooms. In the hotel reception it works hard, with interruptions, often not at all here too. And when it works, you have to endure terrible heat, the hall has no air conditioning, with over 40 Celsius outside. In the end, when we had 2 days left, the hot water boiler broke down, until we left I had no hot water. In conclusion, stay away from this hotel.

This Hotel , is outdated in need of massive investment where do I start we arrived late and was met by a real nice man on reception. So not bad first image but then it went down hill . We had booked all inclusive that was a joke , breakfast was the same for 2 weeks ,the dining room Manager was the rudest man I ever met and the staff not much better , I think the chef was the only friendly one. The Dining room Manager his name was Mustafa faught with customers who complained. Drink included joke all you could get was local vodka, wine and beer. Not only that but ran out of beer lol and did not replace until next day. Not enough cleaning staff working there and I had to pity the ones who were . They ladies tried there best ,music playing across the street until early hours of the morning so hard to get to sleep , smell in bathroom coming up the drains furniture on balcony all broken , I could go on and on but just take my advice dont book this hotel stay away.

The main advantages of the hotel are: - it is located in the center of the city - it offers free parking Minuses: - old furniture (i.e. small, 20 year old TVs) - no Wi-Fi in the rooms, only in the hotel lobby (however, it provides poor connection) - the food is awful - the hotel is supposed (as per the information they have provided) to offer a desert everyday at 4 pm, however this happens only at every 3 days - the hospitality crew members are always requesting (rather pushy) tips - the restaurant and the other public spaces in the hotel are very very dirty (the tablecloths are a health hazard) - there are many night clubs near the hotel, the music is loud (playing until 6 am) you cannot sleep
