A very amazing stay for couples and families, on top of public hot springs and baths, there are private hot springs in your own room and outdoor private ones that you can use on first come first serve basis. The shuttle bus made it very accessible and easy to commute from the hot spring town, just make sure to check their timetable prior and figure out where to take the bus in advance.

Wonderful experience with beautiful scenery. Will definitely recommend friends about this place.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the stay and highly recommend the hotel. The food is very good.

The room is spacious and tidy. Service are very good. The hotel is quite far away from the center but solved with shuttle bus! Nice trip there.

We had a fantastic stay at Tokinoniwa. The traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the amenities were so complete that all we needed was a change of clothes! Our room had a private onsen, and we could also reserve a lovely public onsen. The only minor drawback is the distance from the bus terminal, with the last shuttle running at 6pm. Despite this, it’s a perfect spot for a relaxing and authentic onsen experience. We regret not extending. Highly recommended!

my package is 2 meals and in house onsen bath , the servie of hotel is excellent, the foods are great and it tooks me 2 hours to finshed my meal. diskes is small but good enough for ladies. the hotel provide shuttle bus from karuizawa station to hotel. also hotel to local bus station.

Very pleasant stay in the hotel, like their room and amenities so much , just the room is too warm sometime.

The hotel has high level of service and facility. The restaurant service and food is supreme. Parking space is totally enough if you do self drive like us. The indoor heat is a little too much even when turn it down like 20 oC. It is -5 to 3 outside. So many onsen option is our reason to pick this hotel. Totally recommend for any small group or family to consider.

Wonderful stay for our family trip. All facilities are clean and well maintained. Top level staff service in each part. Though lack kimono for young children, they refilled very quickly. Food and drinks were yummy. They provided great choice and variety for breakfast and dinner even for 2 consecutive days that we had stayed. Would love to return. Osen was well maintained and clean.

Very good hotel, good location, clean and tidy, highly recommend

The hotel is great. The staff in the hotel was very nice and careful, they had prepared well for our beds before we had finished the dinner. Many treats and drinks were free to get during the stay. We were happy to stay at the hotel for the whole rainy day.
