Reef & Beach Resort - Spa Jambiani

Beautiful sunset, good bar & meals, Amazing facility (literally everywhere is more than great) and nice hospitality. I should have booked here at least 3 nights. If you want to stay near famous beaches, then tourist attractions are not in walking distance, but you dont even need to go, staying in this resort is perfect enough. GOOD VIBE!!

Everybody smiles and says “Jambo”. Very friendly employees always at your service. The food is also very good with every day different style. Very clean rooms. Sometimes electricity breakdown (this is Africa) but quickly restored. Good airco too. Thank you for the fantastic holiday!!!!!

We spent 8 nights in Reef and Beach resort at the beginning of May. Due to the delayed flight, we arrived the resort quite late but the hotel ensured that we had sandwiches and fruits when checked in. Nice touch. We stayed in the mangrove suite, simple but fine for us. Aircon worked perfectly, plenty of hot water for shower. Meals in the all inclusive restaurant were good with varied dishes to try on the themed nights...minor things were "beer not cold enough". Tasty snacks were available in the afternoon, no chance of getting hungry! During our stay, weather was a mixture of occasional downpour and sunshine. The beach was rocky with extreme high and low tide. One day the tide was so high and strong that the jetty was damaged. This is nature! Hotel acknowledged the inconvenience and provided free excursion to Paje. There were some building work in the hotel which were fenced off. Hopefully, the resort will have a new look when completed for the busier season. Colobus monkeys were seen every morning, very cute but we didn't find any nocturnal bushbabies. Before our arrival, we did our research of the resort, its location, beach and culture - all have lived up to our expectations. A big thank you to the helpful and friendly staff !!

Fantastic experience the crew was super! We eated very well...all love smiling person ...the cousin workers! Receptionist did the best to enjoy our time! Great relax… great landscape… we have seen monkeys family, bushbabies, Sea stars ... Perfect days!

All credits to the room, food, Pools, jettybar, because all is great, but the staff is by far the nicest, friendliest and helpfull group of amazing people i have encountered in a resort. I can only recommened it and will go back for sure. Thanks to Rose, mr Everywhere, Flora and all the others

Zanzibar is a beautiful island with beautiful people. The hotel was excellent, the food in the buffet restaurant was good quality and quantity, they had different themed nights each evening, staff in restaurant very friendly and attentive. We also dinned in a small restaurant on the resort which was not included in our all inclusive package but was very cheap and food was very good. All staff in the resort were so kind, helpful and friendly and all work incredibly hard to meet everyone’s needs. The beach is incredible we went on a beach walk and saw starfish and other sea creatures. The jetty bar is nice for a quiet and intimate evening. We did many excursions from, quad biking into some small villages on the island, we went to Stone Town which is the town of Zanzibar, on this trip we also visited a spice farm and had a delicious lunch of rice, meats vegetables, followed by lots of delicious fresh fruit. This was an incredible holiday, one of the best I’ve ever had, I also celebrated my birthday out there and we dined at The Rock, famous restaurant in Zanzibar, it was so good we went back 2 days later! I highly recommend this island and hotel! 10/10!!!

This truly has been the best holiday we have ever had!! The staff are fabulous, nothing was ever too much trouble and the hotel is so beautiful with so much wildlife around. The Indian ocean is right there for you to enjoy the crystal waters and is so much fun. The kayaks were a great experience on the waves! The rooms are spacious and have very comfy beds! There’s a safe and a massive shower, we didn’t miss having a tv or a fridge as the jetty is open 24 hours for drinks. We loved the authentic feel we got here with the wood and natural stone everywhere. There’s so many staff members to mention but G, Joseph and Alex in the animation team were always a laugh and very welcoming. Soud, the head waiter and Renada in the restaurant along with bar staff Flora, Zena were just amazing! The chefs and the house keepers, as well as all the maintenance guys working so hard we’re all so friendly and welcoming. Yes there has been some renovation works but you have to have some allowances as they need to maintain the property and improve where needed and they can’t shut down the hotel for that. It never was a problem for us and we spent a lot of time at the main pool and the jetty. Obama at the crab tours sorted us some fabulous excursions and would highly recommend him.

Our first time in Zanzibar and this was the hotel we chose for our 11 night holiday. We had zero regrets!! The hotel was lovely and very traditional looking - we loved this, compared with a big commercial hotel. Beautiful views of the Indian Ocean!!! First impressions: - Staff were very welcoming & friendly, Advised us that check-in is 3pm (we arrived approx 11:30am) but our All-Inclusive begins immediately so we could go eat & chill around the resort until we had a room sorted. We didn’t have to wait too long as our room was ready at 12:30ish. Whilst we were waiting, we were shown to the showers & changing rooms which was great after a long time travelling. - Hotel was very clean & there was rarely a cleaner out of sight. The public toilet areas were always clean & well presented. - Our room was a bungalow on the beach front …… AMAZING!!! - The hotel was busy but you wouldn’t know through the day, only at meal times. It was fabulous for us as we wanted a chilled out and relaxed break. Spa: OMG what can i say - this place was a godsend. Whilst we were at the resort we had 6 treatments between me and my partner. 2 x Full Back Massages each and on our last night we booked a Hamman Spa treatment. The staff were fantastic!!! Would highly recommend booking a treatment with the team if you stay at the hotel! After our first massage both me & my partner had the best nights sleep ever!!! Trips: We used the onsite trip company Crab and Lobster. Amir was fab in helping us make the best of our stay in Zanzibar. All staff were amazing - very friendly and helpful no matter the questions or requests we had. Some special mentions to highlight: Buffet restaurant Manager: Alvin - thank you for looking after us daily 😊, Buffet restaurant waiter - Daniel “Mr Chelsea” - thank you for serving us so proudly and having football conversations with Gavin every time you served us! 🙂. Monica & Alos in the jetty bar - you were fabulous and made the days pass whilst we were laid down at the jetty.

Lovely resort with 2 pools & a jetty right on the beach. The staff are friendly, cheerful & attentive. The room was basic but clean & spacious. Lovely tasty local cuisine (and other food types) in the restaurant & plenty for non meat eaters. We had a great experience & definitely recommend
