Mwezi Boutique Resort

There was no single dealbreaker with this place but we were disappointed in little ways across the board. Our room was a screen and concrete hut, basic but serviceable. Except they thought it was a good idea to install air conditioning but not window glass, so it was all night with the noise of everyone else'e AC blowing cold air directly out the window. "Eco friendly boutique". You have to order dinner three hours ahead, presumably because that's how long they boil the pasta. The seafood was old, and they charge you for it even if you've already paid for full board. We switched to a much much nicer place after one night. The manager did refund the rest of our stay which was nice of her.

We stayed here for three nights after spending one week in matemwe.amazing location,very clean room,friendly staffs.We loved how peaceful the place is.All the staffs are very helpful.We rate 5 stars ro harrison who was there for us.I must come back.

The location is good, the pool is nice and well mantained, breakfast is ok but nothing special. The restaurant in generell is acceptable but not outstanding. We stayed in a bungalow near the pool, the toilette was leaking (not usable at some point) and the faucet was also leaking. Overall the bungalow was clean, but more like a beach hut. Every evening the hut is sprayed with pesticides because of the mosquitoes, which caused a cough at night. The employees at the reception were often overwhelmed and unreliable regarding pick-up times for a shuttle or standard services. Ultimately disappointing if you believe the descriptions and reviews online.

Great location. Nice pool. Acceptable breakfast. Reasonable priced meals. Nice staff. Staying in a bungalow by the pool close to the beach. Be aware: the beds upstairs are not made for adults and my sons age 19 & 21 are not having the best nights. Please also be warned that the bungalow in reality is a hut. Do not keep any food in the bungalow. We had “visitors” last night, making awful sounds and helping themselves from unopened packages of biscuits. Monkeys? Mice? Rats? Very unpleasant whatever it was.

🙂🙂Very well equipped facility , pool well maintained but beach with seaweeds in the water , attentive and dedicated staff. 😒bed very hard ( staff added foam without much effect ( we were not the only ones to make this observation ) . 😒😒Air conditioned rooms with 2 windows fitted only with mosquito nets cannot be condoned
