Hotel Resol Kyoto Kawaramachi Sanjo foton

Hotel was a 8 minute walk from the station but it's sheltered all the way. It is located opposite Uniqlo and GU so it was super convenient for my boyfriend and I to shop and head back immediately to drop the things down before heading out again! There is also Round1 about 3 minute walk from the hotel and a familymart about 5 minute walk from the hotel. Hotel staff are so polite and they speak fantastic english! There is an amenities booth right beside the lift too and IT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED (facial cleanser, toner, mouthwash, face mask, herbal relief mask and so much more). In the room there's even a hair dryer and a hair straightener 😭 Room was big enough to open an oversized luggage! Do also take note that there is no cleaning of rooms but the staff did mention that you may request if needed. It was so good I immediately recommended this hotel to my friends that are going to Kyoto when i was there. ❤️

Hotel is conveniently located opposite uniqlo. Suitable for solo travelers as room is small, boutique hotel concept. Reception is helpful. If you have 2 suitcases, take a cab from kyoto station instead. 20 mins walk to Gion. 10 walk to Nishiki Market.

Very well located in front of a bus stop that will take you to Kyoto station and all the important sights of the city. The roams are very comfortable and staff very professional. You have a small room with coffee and water.

Perfect location. Cozy little room. Nice bathtub to relax after a busy day!

Hotel locations is awesome.. the staffs are friendly and helpful. The room and washroom are clean and tidy and they will replace the new towels and drinking water bottles daily for you.

Perfect location along Kawaramachi shopping street. Convenient for arrivals from Osaka via Hankyu Kawaramachi. Many spots within walking distance: Nishiki Market, Gion, Nijo Castle and Kiyomizudera/South Higashiyama area are 10-30min walk away. The buses outside the hotel can take you further e.g. Arashiyama. I was happy that I was granted my room request - room was clean enough, though there is no daily room cleaning (they will hang a bag of new towels and water on your door and you can place your trash or used towels outside). Nevertheless, the perks outweigh this consideration - pretty entrance and lounge with free drinks, great location. Will stay here again!

Excellent location. Easy access to nightlife, bus and metro. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Lots of information on attractions and directions to recommended sites. Room is a little small but I guess that traditional Japanese style. Enjoyed the look of the interior of the hotel.
