Good hotel near the station, excellent location, super filling breakfast. All things were good, but sometimes wifi didn't connect

This was a fantastic experience. They have a lovely room with a nice full private bath and all the amenities I needed, including good free wifi. They let me check in early and they were the friendliest staff I've had at a hotel in a while. The big perk is definitely the open bar though. You get unlimited water, orange juice, apple juice, Pepsi zero, and other drinks on tap 24/7, and you also get 1 free hour of happy hour drinks each day between 4-9 PM. It's a massive perk and helped me start my evenings most nights with free wine, vodka, gin, etc. I think that's a huge benefit of this place if you're into that. They also serve great food, ice cream, and other things are available for purchase in the lobby. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Kyoto as it's a nice walk to the river and Nishiki market as well from here.

Clean rooms with simple breakfast and bonus happy hour drinks. The location was suitable for sightseeing as most sites were within a 30 min walk or short train ride. The view of Kobe tower and the nearby temple from our 6th floor room was a nice bonus.

This is a great hotel. It's perfectly situated for the many shrines and temples in the old part of Kyoto and also only a short walk from Kyoto station. There are also a few craft beer bars and vegan restaurants nearby. Highly recommend

A pleasant place to stay. A grab bar by the bath tub would be great. The toothbrush bristles are on the hard side. The breakfast menu was the same for the 3 days l was there. Taste wise, a wee bit on the salty side.

I have stayed at this hotel before and would happily stay again. The rooms are small but that is the only real issue, as you have everything you could need here. The staff are pleasant and helpful and there are free drinks in the evening. Recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at this clean hotel! The room, while cozy, was perfect for a solo traveler. Bed is comfortable as well. It’s located along a quieter street and about 400m to the nearest bus stop, so arriving here with luggage may be just a little challenging during peak hours. About 15-20mins to Kyoto station if you like a walk. Bus/train rides to the popular areas in Kyoto. The hotel amenities were great though —everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would recommend if you are okay with the traveling time at the start and end of each day.

Hotel staff is friendly and can speak some english. The room is sizeable for 2 person. There is no wardobe so you need to hang your clothes on the wall. The hotel provides clothes freshener which you can spray onto your clothes as well. Also noticed that they provide some shoe shine and equipment in the room as well, probably to cater to business travellers). There are also complimentary bath salts which you can take from the reception. The coffee, tea and soft drinks at the lounge/breakfast area on the 1st storey are also complimentary. Downside is that the hotel is located a little far from Kyoto Station (about 15mins walk) so it is better to take a bus (about 10mins journey). The cleanliness can be improved as well. There is a slight stain on the comforter in our room and we noticed some dirt on the carpet near the foot of the bed, and also some sticky residue on the underside of the table (when we tried to shift the table). It was probably missed out during housekeeping. The pillow is rather flat and not the most comfortable too. Nonetheless, the hotel is decent for the price paid.

Overall was good. Come with complimentary breakfast with few choices but high quality food.

Хороший отель, тихо, чисто, быстрый вайфай. Сложнее всего было найти рядом кафе, чтобы позавтракать. Идти приходилось до станции. От центра и района Гийон далековато, но дойти можно и пешком.
