The hotel was nice but the location was a bit far from where the downtown area was. Also the windows were tinted with a plastic film, could not see outside. Finally the AC was not stable that was a bit problematic but all and all it was a nice place.

Love this mercure kyoto Is quiet And Clean And nice decor Lots of choices for bfast too The thing that weird is only the tinted window — it will be great if can see outside clearly 🫣🫣

It’s not very near the Kyoto station especially because there is no underground link to the hotel from the main station. You will need to walk along the main road and it’s not very good for the luggage wheels as the roads are not smooth. There is also no gym in this hotel. Will probably try other hotels the next time if I’m visiting Kyoto.

Great hotel with friendly hospitality! Do note they are very strict with breakfast time so you can’t go past 1 min after the closing time

There is near kyoto station and go to hotel from station around 10mins on walk. That’s a great experiance for us.

Propels say Japan hotel is very small room , but this hotel is quite big room clean food is ok. Nice hotel. Like it. Will be back again. Near Kyoto rail. Good to take bus Also near but to airport. Very easy to take bus at H to airport. Thank you.

Location was not as near to Kyoto Station as we thought. Had to ask ask for iron/ironing board several times before they finally brought it many hours later. Towels were not changed even though there were no signs saying that we specifically had to request for towels to be changed or to be placed onto the floor. Amenities such as slippers were not replenished.

Cute little hotel which was located about ~10 min stroll away from Kyoto station. About a 5 min walk to the nearest bus stop. Not the most convenient but definitely lovely place to stay in. Loved the interior and the tranquility of the hotel and its surroundings which was a quieter neighbourhood as compared to Kyoto station’s bustling crowd.
