Located within Kawaramachi. Very convenient and accessible to Nikishi market and Kiyomizu-dera. Breakfast was nice, though the variety is limited. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good if the lounge area can provide tea in addition to coffee and chocolate. Minus point is that the washer-dryer does not completely dry the clothes.

Very happy with my choice. Great location. Worth the trouble getting to/fro Kyoto station. If you got many luggage just take a taxi to Kyoto station (aprox 2500 yen) to board your train or limo bus back to Kansai airport. 😀

Your hotel has dishonest staff. I definitely forgot my daughter's blanket there, as well as my boots. I traveled 1 hour from Osaka to get them back, but the staff said that the housekeeper did not find what I forgot, which is impossible because I left it in the room because I did not put everything down the first time, but I forgot to go back to get it again, but the housekeeper said that there was nothing there. My daughter cried and was very sad because it was very important to her, but the staff made a hard face to help find it and insisted that the housekeeper did not find my things. I like everything in this hotel. This is my second time staying here, but from now on I will not stay again.

The best location. Room size is fine. But breakfasts are 3 out of 5.

Initially allocated us to a room right beside the cemetery. Not too comfortable with that. The new room (same size but more expensive) away from the cemetery felt more comfortable.

The hotel facilities and room is so beautiful and worth for staying

The hotel is located close to the 3A exit of the Hankyu Train Station. Just walk north and cross the road then you would reach the hotel. Standard breakfast for this good price range and great for those who would like to stay a few days for travelling around Kyoto, Arashiyama and Uji areas. The room I chose was slightly bigger, around 23-25m2 and good for two people, but be prepared if you have two large cases of luggage then opening both together would be difficult, because the sink is located in the heart of the room and not to the side of one wall. Generally, a good choice for its price as compared to those around this hotel.

Perfect location and really nice hotel. If I were to go to Kyoto again, I would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient location, near train station , many shopping malls, good service , provides many types drinks, the breakfast also nice. they’re all honest, when I check out and go to Kyoto station , my handbag left in room, I come back to hotel asked to staff, After they confirmed it, they returned it intact. I'm so grateful. There's really no reason to say it's bad, so I give it full marks.

This is the greatest hotel I've ever stayed in in Japan. The rooms were spacious and comfy. Separate toilet and shower room. Excellent modern hotel room. The best Cocoa drink at the lobby.

Stayed in a Moderate Double Room. Good for a solo short stay. Very little storage space, a tiny closet with no door, no storage for clothes, etc. Bags and suitcases can't be stored away and need to be left out in the open. Not recommended for two people, especially for a longer stay. Restaurant only available for breakfast, though there are many restaurants in the area. Good location, close to shopping, restaurants, and transportation. Bathroom is small but very clean, bed is big but quite firm (firmer than most). What I found most annoying was that the elevator would always stop at the second floor, whether you push the second floor button or not. Also, housekeeping keeps dirty towels and trash bags out in the halls all afternoon. Not very attractive.

The hotel was on a main road, but even then it was quiet and relaxing. There are literally 100 restaurants and shops within a hundred meters. Bus stops to many of the major tourist spots are a stone's throw away. The staff were friendly and responsive. The room had a USB plug for recharging devices AND a second multiple mini/micro connector as well. The TV is programmed for multiple languages and provides info on services within the hotel and on destinations outside as well. Most important, next time I'm back in Kyoto this is where I'll be staying! *On a side note, I highly recommend train travel rather than rental cars to get to Kyoto; parking can be extremely expensive. Busses and trains are frequent and cheap around the city. **And for sightseeing my favorite spot was actually not Kinkakuji Temple, but about an hour north of Kyoto (local bus only 530 yen - one way) called Sanzen-in Temple. This is quintessential Japan! Warning, it is NOT wheelchair accessible or for those with walking difficulties. But what you will find is beautiful moss gardens and tons of photo opportunities.

Great location and have a good sizing of room around that area.
