I really give 5 stars for this hotel. It offers laundry and no problem with drying since the room is equipped with a drying facility. The bed is so comfy. Clean and location is just so near the markets. 8-10 mins walking to the Nijo Station. Also, bus stations are nearby. Nijo Castle visit is a must which is just nearby.

The hotel stay was perfect, the staff was friendly. They offer free luggage storage, free laundry detergent. The washing machines are free to use and there are enough available. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but is also reflected by the great value of the room rate. Everything was clean.

The hotel is a 5-10 minutes walk away from Nijo station and a 20 minutes walk away from Nijo Castle. My room was small but clean and the staff was friendly. There is a kitchen in the lobby if you want to prepare your own food but there are plenty of restaurants at the station and the streets nearby.

It was the worst hotel experience I had in Japan. They don’t have any customers service. They don’t clean your room while you stay there even few days. The room are very basic and the water from the top smell of bleach. I didn’t like at all my stay there. Even I wrote to them 1 month in advance to asking to change my booking, they allowed and the the previous day they said it was not possible. Luckily the customer care of Trip.com is very good so they helped me a lots! I’m very disappointed with this hotel. Don’t waist your money

Staff are mainly Chinese students who tried their best. Kitchen too small for 60 rooms hotel capacity. But location is good for Nijo Castle visit , Gion and Arashiyama et al.

I gave a 4/5 on service only because they only come clean the room every 4 days you stay. I bought almost all of my food from the supermarket nearby, so I had loads of trash after 2 days. Not a big deal. The location was great! Near lots of restaurants, 3 supermarkets that I found (within 5 minutes walking), 20-30? minute walk to Nishiki Market. Quiet! Staff was helpful (English/Japanese/Chinese). They have a kitchen/dining area if you want to cook, everything is clean (no bugs/roaches). Free washing for clothes! Definitely would stay again!

The room was large enough for two people. It has free laundry service (the shower has a dryer, you just have to hang the clothes there and it works really well). Really close to a shopping street with nice restaurants and shops. Also super close to the bus that goes straight to kyoto station. The personnel were super nice and helpful

The service is really great and allows all guests to park their luggages prior to check in and even after checkout. Though the time to checkout is quite early (at 10am), it worked for us since we are leaving Kyoto very early as well. I would come to this place again the next time I'm in Kyoto. It's very accessible to all bus and train rides.
