Platsen är mycket bekvämt och lobbyn är trevlig. Rummet var riktigt litet och gammalt. Det var en äldre, mager dam vid receptionen som var mycket oförskämd. Det finns små presenter till gästerna i lobbyn, en hög med toalettartiklar, och det står att en person kan ta två, och vi två tillsammans, två personer kan ta fyra. Jag tog fyra små presenter och vände mig om för att gå, men damen i receptionen stoppade mig och sa 2 för varje person, 4 för 2 personer. Jag visade henne att jag bara tog fyra. Saker som inte är värda femtio cent totalt, blir du diskriminerad? På andra hotell finns det bara ett gäng av dem att ta, men här står det att det bara är två per person Har andra inga ögon? Det är ursprungligen en självbetjäningsvara. Vill du fortfarande kontrollera och diskriminera kinesiska ansikten? Väldigt oförskämd och väldigt kränkt!

Room is abit small but compensated for a superb location! Just minutes walk away from Kyoto station and it’s just next to Kyoto Tower!

Superb covenient location ( just cross the road then is the bus and jr station). Room is clean with lots a good quality amenities provided including bath salt and face cleansing oil. Walkable areas to shopping, convenience stores and breakfast shops. There’s is a big temple nearby which good to visit during evening time.

This hotel nice sleep. Staffs are friendly and helpful &supporting when baggage delay although I have already checked-out on that day🥰🥰

Hotel is nice. Location is right in front of the train station. Room is very clean and bigger size than other normal hotels. Price is affordable. This is the best hotel that I stayed during my Japan trip. Highly recommend. I will come back to stay here again if have a chance.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto. Upon check-in, I was delighted by a thoughtful perk: every guest gets to choose two small gifts from a selection that included moisturizing masks, hair bands, lotions, bath salts, and more. This added a nice personal touch to the experience. I booked a small double room for under $80 USD, which, while not cheap, is relatively affordable for Kyoto. The room was compact but well-designed, offering enough space to comfortably access the bed from both the side and bottom. The bathroom, though small, was functional, featuring a bidet (common in Japan), a deep but short bathtub, and plenty of amenities. The hotel also provided pajamas, slippers, a hot water kettle, tea, glass cups, and reliable Wi-Fi, making the stay even more convenient. The room had windows that could be opened or closed for ventilation, and both the AC and hot water worked flawlessly, ensuring a comfortable environment. While breakfast was available, I opted not to try it due to its price of around ¥1600 and my past experiences with underwhelming hotel breakfasts. The only downside was the early 10 AM checkout time, which led to a bit of a rush for the elevator in the morning. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall quality of the stay. For travelers seeking a comfortable and budget-friendly option in Kyoto with thoughtful amenities, I highly recommend Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto.

Nice hotel in front of Kyoto station, location is excellent to discover the city and make use of all the public transport, room is big enough to stay a couple of nights.

Small room. A bit dated and you can definitely smell the moldy smell right after you enter the building. There is no window in my room, just a “fake” one. But overall the service was good.

The hotel is located right next to Kyoto JR Station, and the room is relatively large compared to those in other hotels. We arrived at the hotel around midnight, and there were no issues with the late check-in. In addition, it's easy to reach all the major tourist attractions in Kyoto by bus.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. The room was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable—with thoughtful touches like plush bedding, quality toiletries. Housekeeping kept everything immaculate throughout my stay. The location couldn’t be better—conveniently located near top attractions/shopping areas/restaurants, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality, memorable stay. I’ll definitely be returning!

Excellent location, next to an entrance to Kyoto Station. Clean. Small room, though OK without large suitcases.
