KYOTO TOKYU HOTEL recensioner

A bit far from popular tourist spots. Need to use bus or taxi to move around. Hotel shuttle is available from Kyoto train station. Old hotel but well maintained. Quiet and not too crowded with tourists.

Kobe Tokyu Hotel is in a good state of cleanliness, location, service and amenities.

Very polite and helpful staff. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The breakfast was ok and they offered both japanese and continental options. The standard rooms on the 2nd floor had no view as there was a large wall in front of the window so i would definitely not recommend this option. The premium rooms are on higher floors and offer better view, if that is what you are going after. Overall it was a comfortable and clean place to stay for a few nights

The room was clean and I slept very comfortably.

The location is convenient yet not that strategic to easy access for shopping or to convenient store. Grant Lobby and classy restaurant and bar. The Conceptual room is newly renovated yet the standard remains with time mark.

have suttle buses from the kyoto station to the hotel. and I have to say the shuttle bus driver is so welcoming and cheerful. also convenient to go to sightseeing places by bus( around 5min walk) but no convenient stores nearby. the closest one will be about 10min walk

We are a family of 3. The room was a lot bigger than we expected. The breakfast was above our expectation. It was a very good value deal. Wished we had booked for a longer stay. We would choose this hotel again should we get a chance to come back to Kyoto.

Very tastefully decorated room and the communal areas. Very helpful staff even for Japanese well known high standards. They kindly advised us on our travel plan and flagged a taxi down for us on the street, we felt literally nothing was too much for them. I thought it was reasonably priced for the quality the hotel provided us over all. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location is convenient, big slots for transportation, closed to the temple in walking distance; Breakfast are tasty and so many choices, Room is clean.

Nice & clean hotel. Very helpful staff. Have parking options. Lots of options for vegetaarian in breakfast & supper.

Breakfast buffet provides plenty of choices and they taste good.  The guest room is big enough to accommodate three of us!

A very pleasent place to stay. Rooms spacious, clean and quite. Great breakfast with many options, they also have gluten free, but you need to make sure to tell them while you prenote for the hotel, so they'll know. Staff perfect.

Location is far from the town center as well as the tourist sight seeing spots. Found hair stuck in the bath tub and on the bathroom floor. There is literally no air conditioning in the room and its extremely frustrating especially the temperature reached almost 36c in the day time. That really let us down. Otherwise, the facilities are good and friendly staff.

Decent hotel with superb services, including free shuttle buss from Kyoto station. Great continental breakfast !
