Kyoto Plaza Hotel recensioner

The hotel is near to the main station and main transport, it is clean and convenient.

It is near Kyoto station, but not very near like next to the station. Although it say 10 mins, that's should be speed walking. Furniture and room a little dated. But still comfortable. Amenities are provided. Plus point is the public bath which I enjoy. Photo is the view from level 7 room 3. Oh I was given a corner room when I specifically requested no corner room when booking.. but the receptionist was very kind to accommodate my request n change room for me

It's almost in between Toji Temple and Kyoto Station. Opposite is a nice shopping mall, Aeon. The hotel itself is clean, service is good. The breakfast is not great. Very convenient to take the local bus and visit tourist attractions. Overall good.

its a little walking distance from the Kyoto station but closer to the other metro station. the facility has common bath and a massage place. Its relatively clean and the stay was good.

We mainly booked it because we needed 2 beds. However, we were pleasantly surprised that it was better than expected. We enjoyed the free breakfasts and dinners that were Japanese style

Hotel is close to Kyoto Station, so it is convenient to ride Shinkansen. Nice range of food options at breakfast, clean rooms and staff is nice

Had a great stay at the Kyoto Plaza Hotel. The surrounding neighborhood was calm and peaceful. It's a bit of a trek to all the main sights in Kyoto (about 20-30 mins by bus) but I really loved being able to walk to To-ji Temple and the Kyoto Aquarium. The breakfast served daily was great and for a very affordable price. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect price for the good value you get as a solo traveller. The location was perfect as it was less than 8 minutes walk to the main Kyoto station but nearly on the opposite side of the big AEON mall. Nearby was a bus stop from where you can take the bus to main tourist spots. Staff were very friendly and helpful, too. Amenities were exactly what you need and what you would expect from a three star hotel. The room was very clean and cozy, but the only thing was a cigarette smell on my pillow case in my non-smoking room. Other than that I was very happy with my overall stay at the hotel and I would come back :)

Front desk staff don't really speak or understand English. But they are helpful.

The hotel not far from JR station about 12 min walk, which you can take bus or train to travel around Kyoto. Room also have onsen for guest, and have mall near by just walk not more than 5 min

Location is not bad as it is a 10 min walk from the JR station. Aeon mall is just next door. However, sound proof is not good enough. Can hear noise from the cars.

Breakfast should change the menu daily.

You can walk there from Kyoto station.
