Location wise average

Very comfortable room and bed, and great bathroom! It had a lot of plugs so it was easy to charge everything. I didn't have a view but that was ok! There were plenty of laundry facilities and microwaves if you wanted to warm something up and you could get delivery to the lobby. It has a very pretty landscaped entrance and is only 5 minutes from Shijo station (5 mins to Kyoto station) and 10 mins to Shijo Omiya station. There is also a bus stop right outside that goes all the way to Kinkaku-ji temple! You are 20 mins for Gion and 15mins from the main shopping area. Easy to find somewhere to eat in the evening and get breakfast. There are free toilettes in the room but also in the lobby (lotion, cotton pads and cotton buds, iron etc) but the one thing I would have loved was UHT or fresh milk to be available. Yes there are markets nearby, yes there is an (unplugged) refrigerator in your room but I only wanted a little bit and this would have made my stay perfect. Still a great experience and definitely somewhere I would recommend for your stay in Kyoto.

Super cramped room that barely had any space to move around. This room was designed for a solo traveller. Only one of us could open one luggage at a time. Pillows were very thin.

Everything is working fine with a very strategic location. You can access to bus stops, grocery store, convenient stores and restaurants with ease because this hotel is located on the main street. Suggest to add washing machine/dryer

This location is perfect I would say, walking distance away from the main shijo street. There's a bus stop outside hotel whereby you can go anywhere with it . Family Mart is few steps away. Cleanliness is on point other than the room is small. But generally all Japan room is small unless u pay more for it.

Fabulous location with bus stops to most major destinations right out front. While rooms are small, they are well designed. Staff was friendly & helpful. I enjoyed Kyoto & Ibis Styles so much, I added 2 more nights.

It's very good location and quite zone. the room suitable for solo as single bed but if you working in the room might not suitable

Basic room and they won't provide water unless you requested from the reception. Location is best just 10 min walk you will reach to the shopping area.
