Avoid this hotel. It's just awful. Arrived at 2am and had to pay for water and no coffee or mugs in the room. Bedlinen and pillow smelt of the last occupant. Dander everywhere. Bathroom mouldy and toilet unhygienic. Restaurant tables sticky and cutlery had old food on. The beach restaurant is closed. The beach is unsightly with a waste discharge flowing across it. The ornamental fountains are breeding mosquito larvae. It's unkempt and untidy with old sunlougers and broken tables discarded about the place. The staff had nothing much to do and sat drinking coffee and smoking underneath the bedroom window. I really don't appreciate the stink of ********! AC units need cleaning out. We left as soon as we could. This could be such a lovely hotel but it really has lost its way. It needs new management, a deep clean and the staff need training. The photos are years out of date and the positive reviews left here are laughable.

Very welcoming hotel with large comfy rooms. Staff very accommodating and very friendly. Set on the seafront with beautiful gardens. Excellent breakfast. Great pool area. Hotel is very very clean. Very comfy beds.

We loved our stay ... perfect room with a beautiful view .. breakfast was superb .. delightful staff , very well managed and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed . We will return very soon . Thank you from George and Nina

It was our first time in Northern Cyprus and we stayed at the Topset hotel which has just been re-opened after two years of being closed due to the Pandemic. The hotel is run by the loveliest family, all of whom made my partner and I feel so incredibly welcomed and relaxed during our stay. Our room was really nice and comfortable and in traditional Cypriot style, with stunning views of the sea from our balcony. The Cypriot breakfast was absolutely FABULOUS! Every morning we were given amazing organic fruit and vegetables/salad grown from the garden on the hotel grounds. The produce just could not have been better. We also thoroughly enjoyed the homemade bread and cakes and flat bread every morning and of course, some strong Turkish coffee! The hotel is situated in a perfect location, we didn't even end up hiring a car as we just used the Dolmous on the main road to get to Kyrenia and other places. The dolmous was extremely cheap and took no longer than 20 minutes to get to places like Kyrenia. We have decided we will definitely be coming back to Topset hotel in the future and we would love to take our family and friends with us next time too. We feel the level of care and kindness from everyone working at Topset Hotel made us feel completely at home and we couldn't recommend it enough!

We have stayed here many times over the past twenty years, but obviously everything has been turned on its head by Covid. The hotel has only just reopened after being closed during the pandemic and slowly things are returning to normal. We wish our hosts every success with the reopening and hopefully we can all get back to normal asap. What is there to like about Topset, basically everything, The hotel is a hidden gem, located almost on the beach, certainly only a stone's throw from the water. The architecture is traditional Cypriot and the bedroom we had was extremely spacious, split level with the actual bed on the mezzanine floor. Fridge and coffee facilities provided. Our breakfast was lovely, again traditional Cypriot, but we could have had an English style if we wanted. Highly recommend!
