Maison San Alfredo B&B

We were in a short visit to Valencia and we could not secure rooms in the hotel which normally we stay. We got this B&B and we expected nothing special. As we entered into the property it was a breathtaking view of the orange orchard. Then we entered into a traditional Spanish house traditionally decorated with paintings, sculptures and furniture. The rooms were spacious enough, and the property was amazing. It had a pool with a nice deck where evenings could be spend. There was a well stocked ‘honesty’ bar! As the name suggested they request to be honest - the guests had 24 hour access to it and no bar tender. All we have to do is to write down what we consume! The best part was the hostess. She was extremely friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Even though the breakaway starts only at 8:30 am, she was extremely accommodative and came in early that day to prepare the breakfast by 7am.. note that we never insisted and had thought that we will have the breakfast on the way to office. What could be improved is the internet. There was WiFi but it was had frequent disruptions, my trouble was deeper as the laptop fire wall stopped me from accessing it! It’s a place I would definitely come back and recommend to my colleagues as well!

Unbelievable oasis venue, arrived just off main roundabout that has restaurant and petrol station just off main road down a private road, room was super cool temperature wise, introduced to honesty bar and fantastic pool, only staying for one night as transit further south, wish we were staying longer, this hotel/ b and b is just fantastic, decor is beautiful, pool and interior, plenty of parking and host very polite, we just love this place,

Nuestra estancia comenzó bien, tal como esperábamos. Estábamos alojados en un apartamento al lado del hotel y teníamos piscina propia. Los dueños indicaron que iban a echar un producto por la noche y que nos podríamos bañar a la mañana siguiente (Su respuesta fue: no habría problema). Al día siguiente estuvimos fuera y llegamos al hotel por la tarde, teníamos calor y mi marido se metió en la piscina y salió corriendo al baño a echarse agua, porque le picaban muchísimo los ojos (estuvo toda la tarde noche con escozor y dolor).Nosotros lo dijimos al día siguiente en el desayuno, en ningún momento le preguntaron como estaba, sólo que nos habían dicho el día anterior que ya no íbamos a poder utilizar la piscina en nuestra estancia (lo cual no es cierto y obviamente mi marido no se hubiera metido en el agua). No entendimos su respuesta ni por qué alguien echa un producto de cloro a las 4 de la tarde y no deja ningún cartel indicándolo. No somos malas personas, sino hubiéramos ido a que nos hicieran un informe médico. Pero tengo que decir que nunca me había pasado esto y que nos fastidiaron el fin de semana que queríamos pasar de relax.
