We spent one night here at Christine and Richards. She is a wonderful hostess. Their chateau is an eclectic mix of English and French decorating. Christine provided a full dinner and a wonderful breakfast. The grounds with peacocks are delightful to walk about. Ask for the room with the full four poster king bed. Large and luscious. Bathrooms have been remodeled and are great.

Un séjour incroyable au Château Valette grâce à nos hôtes adorables, Christine et Richard. Leur présence discrète et chaleureuse a ajouté une touche spéciale à notre séjour. Le cadre verdoyant du château est enchanteur, avec des chevreuils venant au parc le soir, des cygnes sur le lac et des étoiles filantes la nuit. Le calme qui règne ici est tout simplement apaisant. Nous remercions Christine et Richard pour leur gentillesse et nos échanges riches. Partir a été difficile, empreint d’émotions.

Un endroit hors du temps où tout n’est que ravissement : le cadre bucolique, la décoration soignée, empreinte de poésie, la terrasse surplombant l’étang où sont servis les excellents petits déjeuners, une magnifique piscine intérieure voûtée et intimiste. De nombreux sentiers dans le parc ont été le terrain de jeu de notre chien qui s’est senti comme à la maison, tout cela grâce à Christine et Richard qui sont des hôtes bienveillants et attentionnés. Si ce n’est pas votre chemin, le Château Valette vaut le détour. Merci pour séjour ressourçant.
