we chose this hotel due to its location. The building is dated and the view great if not for the electrical wires you see on the other side near the water. The staff very pleasant and accommodating breakfast just ok.

On arriving at the hotel it had a very Swiss feel to it. The staff are bilingual if you have no French. The TV was broken in our room and the receptionist went above and beyond to sort it for us. We had a room overlooking the fjord and the sunsets were stunning. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a varied selection but you need to pay the waitress when you have finished. We presumed it would be added to our final bill.

An amazing stay at L’Auberge des Battures. Staff were incredible. The cuisine blew us away. It was wonderful. Beautiful views from room overlooking fjord.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Breakfasts and dinners were superb, with the dinner experience enhanced by beautiful sunsets over the river. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful.

This hotel, or should I say motel, is in desperat need of renovation. It's old, tired, tatty, battered and in cheep materials. It's not worth the money and don't deserve the four stars. More likely one. We had a standard room with one queen bed, hard as a rock, and "forrestview". That is a handful of trees, a parkinglot and a smoking area. The room was next to the backstairs with doors slamming constantly. And a aircon loud as a jumbo jet. And it was hot like an oven in the night. We shifted to another room and it was just a tiny bit better. Also right next to the backstairs, but a better bed. It was with Fjord view, but also with roadnoice from a very busy road. The breakfast was pricey and not worth the money. The coffee was terrible.

I traveled all the way from Texas and I am so happy with my decision. A wonderfully friendly hotel with spectacular views, especially from the dining room. I would recommend it to anyone. I can only imagine it is even better in the summer time.

Not a 4 star. 3 star is a stretch. We booked a deluxe room- nothing deluxe here. Very basic and very overpriced. Felt like a motel. Dated. Room smelled of smoke. Only plus is view of the fjord. Not worth it.

Superbe vue de la chambre très propre, bien aménagée et grande. Personnel très accueillant et bienveillant (besoin d’une heure supplémentaire avant Check out pour raison professionnelle) Parfait sur l’emplacement, la vue, la propreté et surtout l’accueil du personnel ++++

Très bel emplacement tranquille face au lac avec vue splendide. Chambres traditionnelles et confortables. Nous n'avons pas pu dîner en raison d'un évènement privé ce jour là, par contre petit déjeuner de qualité. Je recommande cet établissement pour son emplacement qui permet de visiter la région. tout en se reposant dans un superbe cadre. Equipe très sympathique
