Hôtel l'Embarcadère

Hôtel Embarcadère in the seaside town of Fromentine has a real family spirit. This year was my second time staying there for an annual family reunion and birthday party, and the owner, Sandra, and her right-hand woman, Stéphanie, went out of their way to welcome us back like old friends. At Hôtel Embarcadère, convenience is key. The hotel is strategically located at the entrance to Fromentine’s pedestrian shopping street, with a local market just a stone's throw away on weekend mornings. The beach and ferry terminal are within a few minutes walk, and the national forest entrance, which offers excellent nature trails, is also just a few minutes away. Everything you need is at your doorstep, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable stay. At Hôtel Embarcadère, you'll find a range of room options, some with sea views and private balconies. Breakfast is served in the hotel bar, and the terrace bar, with its lively atmosphere and small snacks, offers a more authentic experience than many seaside establishments. The events room we reserved for our family party has a sea-view terrace, providing the perfect backdrop for socializing and enjoying the starlit sky. There is a plethora of activities to enjoy in the area, from ice cream bars and crêperies to some lovely restaurants. I personally tried ‘Le Phare’ and ‘Les Navigateurs’, which have good menus and excellent sea-view terraces. Fromentine, with its colourful carousel just opposite the hotel, is a real children’s paradise, but it also has so much to offer for adults who love sea life and sports. The town has more than one beach and a station from which you can catch the ferry to the magical ile d'Yeu. Noirmoutier, with its postcard-perfect beach ‘Plage des Dames’, is only half an hour away by bus or a 20-minute drive, and the entire Vendée coast is unspoilt, offering spectacular beaches all along its coastline, and the area is well worth a visit. We took the train from Paris to Nantes, and the bus (#13) from Nantes to Fromentine is reasonably priced (approx 13€ per person per single ticket) and is a comfortable and convenient way to start your Vendée odyssey.

Super accueil je recommande vivement les chambres sont confortables le lit très confortable avec vue sur le port le personnel très bien le soir petite plancha avec apéro au soleil 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

2 heures du matin, le patron se bat dans la rue devant le bar/hotel avec des clients habitués puisque qu'ils se connaissaient, ils étaient bien évidemment tous saoul, heuresement un vigile de la Vintage Fun Cup est intervenu (nuit du 13 au 13 Aout 2023).
