Stunning location isolated in the forest surrounded by the mountains. The grounds of the lodge have beautiful plant life which attracts a large number of bird life. Only 20 plus cabins around the main reception & dining room all overlooking lots of plant life. There is a lovely outdoor pool & also various bush trails. Each cabin has two seperate rustic timber guest accumulation. Large room with two double beds, a good size bathroom with large walk in shower. Each guest room has its own fast wifi connection. There is no TV. There is a covered veranda with a hammock. There is a selection of menu items for breakfast. All are delicious. Other meals are also tasty & good quality. The staff are helpful & friendly.

My family and I had the most unforgettable stay at The Lodge & Spa at Pico Bonito. The property is truly a hidden gem, and the entire staff was incredibly professional, warm, and helpful throughout our visit. The cabins were cozy and private, the trails were stunning, and experiences like visiting the butterfly house and spotting snakes turned into fun, memorable adventures for the whole family. The atmosphere encouraged us to slow down, disconnect, and fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty surrounding us. One of the true highlights of our stay was dining at the Itzama restaurant. The food was not only delicious and fresh but also a great value for the quality and portion size. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of vibrant local flavors. What made our dining experience truly exceptional, though, was our waiter, Eduardo Reyes. Eduardo went above and beyond to make each meal feel personal and special. He was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in our comfort and enjoyment. From remembering our favorite drinks to making my grandmother’s birthday celebration feel incredibly special, he treated us like family. It’s rare to come across someone so passionate about hospitality — Eduardo truly elevated our entire experience. We left Pico Bonito feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to our next visit. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team, and especially to Eduardo, for making our time there so special.

The waiter Eduardo Reyes was amazing! He gave us a 10/10 service! But also the cabins were comfortable and around nature sounds that help us have a wonderful sleep! The area and the trails are in very good conditions, that we went by our own in a full jungle experience!

We had an incredible experience. Eduardo Reyes was amazing such a great customer service and beautiful place. My kids really enjoyed the food and the pool. The sopa marinera was the best. The desserts were so good. My parents really enjoyed the food.

Really nice place to stay. Extremely relaxing. The cabins are in really good conditions with many amenities. The restaurant serves nice food and the staff is kind. There are many options for walks in the forest. The Spa and the pool are also recommended.

Excellent place, very good attention, and confortables rooms. Amazing place to disconnect from the day by day Life and have a relax time with the people you love. I recomended for sure, you have to take time and visit the place. Its near to La Ceiba!
