Cocotier du Rocher

The appartment are nice, clean and comfortable. Stefanne has been very kind and helpful in everything. Their is no breakfast included so you neee to shop before in a local shop,which was not so convenient

We intended to stay 5 days - we finally made it 10 and never regretted a single day. The houses, furniture and equippment are carefully selected and like new, everything functions and is well kept. Verena and her team made us feel very welcome. The breakfast with its unique choice of fruits is incredible and the creole dishes at dinner are just delightful. The setting is charming and quiet, the garden is a jewel. And all of it at a reasonable price which you can't get at a larger place (€ 113 per night including breakfast for two).

My husband and I stayed there for 12 nights over Christmas and New Year. I can truly say that if you in doubt whether or not to book this place - you must go for it. The service is absolutely amazing. The place is sooo clean and beautiful. The gardens are amazing. Stephane (who was running the place by himself) was so helpful - any query, any request was dealt with within minutes.Thank you!

La Digue island is such a special place, where it seems that time indeed stopped. We enjoyed much our atsy at this hotel, and for several reasons: Great service (You can call directly to the manager, Stephan, when you need, and he is always eager to help), amazing location with flowers and bushes all around you (and you can see the mighty jungle when you look to the east side of the island), nice rooms which includes also local art, and very peaceful atmosphere. We came back exactly 10 years after we first visited. And I am so glad we did. Cocotier Du Rocher is located in a tropical garden that makes you relax and enjoy from the first moment. We felt like coming back to old friends we hadn't seen in a long time. The location consists of small houses that are fully equipped for self-catering, complete with kitchen, a big fridge, and all you need. Traveling with two small children, sometimes the rooms in normal hotels feel a bit small when needing extra beds. Not here, we had a king-size and two normal beds for the kids, and the big veranda including two sunbeds is perfect for a family. The nice bathroom including a walk-in shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and an additional outdoor shower completed the beautiful and clean house we stayed in. The location on the island is actually a secret plus. Essentially, you can get everywhere on the West Coast within 15 minutes by bike. So getting around is easy and quick, but at the same time, you might want to avoid the day tourist stream that moves from the port down to Anse Source d'Argent and back. If you stay a couple of days on La Digue, you might want to go to Anse Severe for the sunset, down to Grand Anse, Petite Anse, and Anse Coco, or go up the hill to Nid d'Aigle or the Veuve Nature Reserve and other locations. Cocotier du Rocher is almost perfectly located to get quickly to all these locations. Finally, Stephan and his team are always helpful and provide tips and suggestions to further enjoy this dream island. Stephan and his team are part of the island's community, and we felt that more than once when we ran into some small unplanned things while exploring the island. When people asked us where we were staying, they went above and beyond immediately to help us. We can absolutely recommend it.

Me and my wife stayed in Cocotier Du Rocher three times, always in different room. All of them were beautiful. We were always very satisfied and would never consider different choice on La Digue. Stephan is extremely supportive and friendly host, the rooms are clean and all works as it should.
