The best place to stay close to the center of La Fortuna. A short walking distance to all cafes and restaurants, yet in a quiet and secluded place. The gardens on the property are incredible and it offers unobstructed view of the Arenal volcano. A delicious breakfast is offered every morning at no additional charge. Staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. A special thank you to Valdivia who was able to retrieve and send an important item we left behind. Cannot wait to go back!

Exactly the place we needed for a very active visit to La Fortuna. We didn’t spend much time in the room only in between any hikes or excursions we had booked. Amazing price for a clean and functional room, a pool to lounge with a view of the volcano, and nice complimentary breakfast. The food was so good and the staff was super kind and very helpful! I would stay here again if I ever come back to La Fortuna! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an extremely affordable place!

The hotel is in a great location, it is a short walk from the centre of town and a number of attractions/activities. The room I had was very spacious and comfortable and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. You have some great views Arenal volcano (when it’s not overcast) but the highlight for me was at breakfast time seeing all the birds flying around the garden in the morning while I was enjoying my breakfast, and seeing the hummingbird each morning was fantastic. One other thing to note is the possibility of seeing a sloth in the tree by reception.

This is THE place to stay while in La Fortuna. Just a stones throw from Town Center you will find a lot to see and do in the area. Our room was conveniently located jut inside the center of this resort which included lush landscaping with an elevated outdoor pool area with a view of the Majestic Arenal Volcano! One of the nice employees pointed out the Sloths and frogs in the wooded area on the property. Amazing to be so close to town and nature all at the same time. They have a very nice restaurant and their staff are friendly and professional. We highly recommend Secreto in La Fortuna!!!

Grounds are really nice with foliage. Rooms are basic, but comfortable. I felt the pics for hotel are a bit deceptive. Thought the property was much larger, as well as the pool. Jacuzzi would be nice at this property and nicer pool area. Location is great with walking to downtown area and restaurants. Staff was very friendly as well.

Beautiful gardens, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, and comfy rooms. And the pool is a bonus! My family really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning one day. Each morning I could birdwatch right outside my room! It's also centrally located to everything in La Fortuna.

This was an excellent base for exploring La Fortuna and Arenal. You can easily book tours at the hotel or at kiosks in the town. They all offer options to collect you if you haven't got a car, but we think we did more for less money by having our own car. The rooms are spacious and have a fridge. The air-con was efficient and had a silent mode for night time. The bedsheets were a cotton polyester mix, which I was worried I wouldn't like, but they were fine. It was wonderful to use the pool, which had humming birds all around it and to look up at the volcano. Breakfast was delicious. The only strange thing was that they did not provide or rent towels for the pool, so be sure to bring your own.

We couldn’t have picked a nicer hotel. The views, the birds, the staff, were all wonderful. Wdilivia the Receptionist went above and beyond to make our stay a special one. Helpful, friendly, professional and just a wonderful lady. The hotel is very lucky to have her. Also Elver, the other receptionist, he was lovely too :) We wouldn’t definitely stay here again, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 11/10
