Nayara Tented Camp

From the moment we arrived, the service at Nayara was superb! All of the staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful: Ariel at check-in and all of the cart drivers were so kind. The grounds were well maintained and the room was stunning. It was exactly the retreat we were looking for in Costa Rica! We highly recommend this resort which includes daily breakfast.

This resort was absolutely amazing. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. They are in the rainforest and from our room we saw monkeys, sloth, birds and many animals. The spring water pool was so relaxing after days filled with hiking and zip lining. The staff was amazing. Kind and welcoming. The grounds were clean and well maintained. We even sat in the bar and had great conversations with Jairo, the GM, and Caroline, the GM of the tented camps. Jose made us wonderful drinks and was great to visit with. They treat their staff well and all were happy to be working there. Highly recommended!

WOW! Nayara Tented Camp exceeded our expectations from our previous trip last year that got us hooked on this place to start with. The accommodations and surroundings are exquisite. The only thing better is the incredible people who work there. Rafael Espinoza assisted me for the past nine months to insure that our three rooms suited our family best. He truly went above and beyond to make this a great experience. Alexander drove our entire family around to see the amazing wildlife that surrounded us. We will never forget him. He touched our family’s heart and we will be forever grateful to him. Foracio delivered our breakfast every morning will the kindest smile and attention to detail. Pablo, Carolina, Erick, Issac, Kerren, Darrien and many others that I don’t have names for took exceptional care of our entire family and made this an extraordinary experience we will never forget. Thank you Nayara Tented Camp and we will be back.

Our family of 5 stayed in a family tent in November. It was spectacular. The property is stunningly gorgeous. The pools and hot springs kept my kids entertained for days. The playground was awesome. We all loved the night frog tour. Breakfast and all food at the resort was exceptional. On top of all that the service was the best we have ever had. To date it’s our kids favorite place!

We have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed various five star resorts in the past, such as four seasons and Aman. Nayara tented camp surpassed those locations with their exceptional service and attention to detail. Carolina Nunez greeted us when we arrived and made sure the entire stay was ideal. The food was top notch, the excursions were outstanding from the moment you are picked up to the event itself, the resort has left no stone unturned. It was Perfect!!

We spent four unforgettable days at Nayara Tented Camp in August and can’t recommend it highly enough—especially for families. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home, but two people in particular went above and beyond: Isaac and Darian. They were incredibly warm, engaging, and thoughtful—especially with our kids. They took the time to point out frogs, sloths, and other jungle wildlife, turning every drive into a mini adventure. Our son Ori absolutely adored them—he didn’t want to be driven by anyone else! The entire experience was seamless: the service was truly top-notch, the food was outstanding, and the setting in the middle of the rainforest was magical. If you’re looking for a well-rounded, luxurious family stay with genuine hospitality and connection to nature, Nayara Tented Camp is the place. We’ll be recommending it to everyone we know—and we’re already dreaming of coming back
