Resort is stunning, service is exceptional, and the villas are absolutely beautiful! Our tour guide Ana showed us lots of wildlife, frogs, sloth, bat, birds, right on the grounds of the resort! Breakfast on your patio or at the La Terraza are both a great way to start the day!

This resort is beyond amazing! Beautiful, meticulously cared-for grounds, luxurious touches everywhere, and the best service I’ve ever experienced. The villa was better in person-you can’t know how large it is from website photos. Incredible!

We stayed at Nayara Springs for a week for our 10th Anniversary. The staff was so incredibly amazing, nice, and helpful. Our coordinator, Mariangel, went above and beyond to make our stay at this resort one that we will remember forever. I cannot say enough great things about everyone we encountered during our stay, they all put in so much effort to care for their guests and it shows. We've never experienced anything close to the level of hospitality the employees at Nayara displayed at any resort or hotel we've stayed at in the US. Truly an amazing place staffed with the best people you'll ever meet. We stayed in villa 32, which had an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano from the back patio. The villa was incredibly comfortable, and the furnishings were all top-notch. We tried almost every restaurant on the property, and they were all simply amazing. The food is all fresh and was prepared to perfection. We especially enjoyed breakfast in the mornings from Mis Amores. The Avocado Toast was to die for and was a great way to start the day. I definitely recommend doing a night at Besame Mucho if you go. The experience of having a private chef and server in a quiet, romantic rainforest setting was fantastic. It was well worth the cost of the dinner. The turndown service in our villa was something else. Almost every night we had something special waiting on us when we returned from dinner; from complimentary bottles of champagne and wine, to chocolate covered strawberries, to personalized cards, and even a complimentary experience of our choosing (we chose to do the Wine Flight experience), they really went above and beyond and it made our stay so amazing. We enjoyed an amazing spa treatment on one of our days. The staff at the spa were among the best we've ever experienced. During our treatment, some guests in the gardens started playing music really loudly which interrupted the quiet sounds of the rainforest. Nothing that the spa could control, but without us even saying anything they gave us a generous discount on the service as an apology for the music, which again wasn't even something that they could control. We also enjoyed two excursions coordinated through the resort. One was a trip to the hanging bridges and the other was a lava walk hike. Both of these excursions were amazing and fun. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and personable and made the experiences so much better than if we had tried to just go on our own. Definitely take advantage of these options if you stay and want to get out and adventure. The property is built on the side of a mountain, essentially. So, there is a steep grade to most of the property. Luckily, they do offer complimentary golf cart service that will pick you up wherever you are on the property and take you wherever you want to go. We opted to walk most of the time we were there, but for anyone who can't get around as easily, having the option to have a cart to help you get around is nice. We saw a

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We split time between Springs and Tented Camp, but started with Springs. To start, the service was beyond exceptional from all the staff. Everyone from the folks at reception to the cart drivers, servers, and the housekeeping staff were beyond helpful and attentive to every request. My wife has some dietary restrictions and every time we ate at the restaurants they made sure to ask about the restrictions and how they could accommodate to it. Our highlights: - Breakfast delivered to the room was amazing - but also make sure to try out the breakfast at Ayla in the mornings - they had a lot more options than the in-room service. Both options were great. - The cart drivers and restaurant staff made it a priority to remember your names. This made it very special. Daniel Blanco, one of the cart drivers, was our favorite. - There is a lot to do at the resort: nature walks, private and non-private excursions, classes, etc. It felt overwhelming at first but we prioritized what we wanted to do. - If you like nature/wildlife, book some of the private excursions. Our excursion guide, Hanzell, was fantastic and he taught us so much about the Costa Rica wildlife. Make sure to ask about excursions that he is leading when you get there. Our tips: - Bring lots of small bills for tips. We brought over $50 in ones and went through it all in a few days. For the room service, cart drivers, excursion guides, and those delivering the breakfast. Tipping at restaurants is added to your tab so no need for cash for that. - The drive is very windy from SJO. Take some dramamine before if you get car sick. - Try out the Termas Hot springs on a cooler day - very secluded and private. 10/10 experience here. In the heart of the rainforest and submerged in nature. The resort is absolutely stunning and the staff if so accommodating and best hospitality I’ve experienced in all my travels. The coffee shop is incredible (I was there multiple times a day), all the restaurants were great and oh I can’t forget the spa! I got a massage and the chocolate scrub and one of the best spa treatments I’ve ever had. All the staff are lovey and want to give some shootouts to them. José Andres, Isaac, Joshua, Steven and Jeremey were our favorite employees and made the experience even better. Couldn’t recommend this resort enough! Exceeded my expectations.

The property is beautiful. We felt like we were living in the rainforest. We saw toucans, hummingbirds, and other animals as we were eating breakfast in the morning on our patio. The food is excellent as is the customer service. We loved the pools and enjoyed sitting in the thermal hot springs. In the evenings, we enjoyed sitting in our private pool. The food was extraordinary at the restaurants and it was so nice to have breakfast delivered to our room. I would highly recommend this resort!

My wife and I travel a lot and this property went to the top of our list. Beautiful place in the forest with amazing staff and facilities. The customer service and attention to detail is beyond compare. The wildlife and beauty on the property coupled with the luxury of the room made it difficult to leave

Nayara Resort it's just magical. You feel like you woke up in a fairytale. It was very calm and relaxing it felt like a second honeymoon for us! Beautiful views of Arenal Volcano, excused dining, and while life is just unreal. So many wonderful excursions to choose from. We had an amazing vacation! Can't wait to go back soon.

This is an amazing resort. All the staffs we encountered are very friendly and helpful. The villa (the unit we stayed) is well appointed and very spacious (indoor and outdoor). It is surrounded with rain forest plants that create privacy and made us feel really relaxed. The breakfasts are complementary. So we went to each of the 3 restaurants in Nayara Resort that serve breakfast (Mis Amores at the Spring, AYLA at Tented Camp, and La Terrazzo at the Gardens) during our stay (4 nights). They are all great in open space setting and serving delicious food. We also took advantage of complementary laundry service twice. That's very helpful when packing my clothing before travel. We participated 3 excursions (hanging bridge walk, early morning bird watching, Night walk to see all creatures (frogs, snakes, etc.) just outside the town of La Fortuna that Nayara Springs contracts with tour companies. All the tour guides are excellent and helped us take those memorable pictures from our phone camera. One note about the 'tourist season' - August is considered as low season. That means less crowd. But I don't feel any disadvantage by coming here during the 'low season'. The afternoon or early evening thunderstorms may be the reason that this is called a low season. But I am glad I visit during this time of the year with less crowd, especially when taking excursions.
