Hôtel la Plage 5 étoiles la Grande Motte

Exceptional Hotel Exceptional Location Exceptional Staff and Service Family of 6. Week long stay last week of August 2024. The on beach location within walking distance of so many activities and amenities is just amazing. We had 4 young children ages 9,8,6,6 and the hotel staff were just so pleasant and accommodating of them. This hotel is such a fantastic mix of a 5 star hotel and a home away from home. Jerome, Lucas and Jennifer in the restaurant were particularly nice.

Outstanding hotel and outstanding service all around. Views are amazing. The balcony outstanding! The meals are top class, the pool beautiful. We are from Australia and the staff were fantastic at communicating with us. Best holiday ever.

We had to cancel our trip due to my very sick fiancé and 17 month old. Unfortunatley nothing they wanted to do about it after asking kindly for a future credit as this was already our 5th stay in the hotel. Good companies you get to know when something goes wront, as also in this case. Unfortunately they were unwilling to work with us as a returning customer, completely not understandable as someone who runs a company himself.

Quite simply it’s not a 5 star hotel, lack of quality in all areas. Good location however. Terrible value for money. I would rate the hotel a very good 3 star or poor 4 star. Lacks quality, and strong management, it’s the finer touches, there aren’t any.

Arrived at the hotel on 26 Oct for one night. 3 couples in room 1/2/3 Traveling from Paris / Nice / Monaco / Cassis staying in 4 different hotels this was by far the worst exsperience ! Firstly when we ask why the air-cons was not working they said nothing they can do because the maintenance worker left work already Then told us just to keep our sliding doors open fir cool air . Staying on the ground floor with a pathway 3 m from us Asked to to moved up which they said they can not do …….. did only see one other couple with our stay Then checking out on the 27 Oct The next morning receiving a mail saying room 2/3 stole their bed runners !! “Following your stay from 26th to 27th October in our hotel, in the rooms 001, 002 & 003 and after a check by our housekeeping manager the bed runner are missing in rooms 001 & 002. Please find attached the invoice for these two items” Invoice 134 Euro No one even noticed any bed runners We left the hotel for dinner and arrived late back sleeping with the doors open Being called thieves , very poor service I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Our room was not ready upon our arrival. We were directed to their beach, but there were no signs of what actually was their beach. After walking a bit we asked at a hut called Le Cocobaïa and a lady confirmed it belonged to the hotel. They had no sun beds, they had to be reserved well in advance. We had a simple lunch for two, it costed 50€. When we wanted to pay, it took forever because they had no or very slow working WiFi. We had dinner in their "L'essentiel" restaurant in the evening. The food was good, but the service lacked attention to detail. The windows as well as the glass barrier we're dirty. For 400€ per night without breakfast we had expected a bit more sophistication. Without having asked for it, we got a room for handicapped. The sink was placed very low and there was no door into the bathroom/toilet. Nawww, not again, sorry.

The hotel is close to a beautiful and full serviced beach. Good position. Personnel is very nice and helpful. The structure actually needs a deep refresh, all pieces of forniture were either damaged or stained. Common areas seem old and neglected. The use of bathtub is difficult and not what you would expect for a five star hotel. The breakfast is good with a lot of choice. Overall a good stay.

Bel établissement en bord de plage dans un quartier calme de la Grande-Motte... La qualité du service et de l'accueil ont particulièrement été appréciés.

Hôtel très agréable au bord d’une plage de sable. Personnel très sympathique et agréable. Restauration exceptionnelle. Un hôtel de rêve pour des vacances au bord de mer.
