The pillows are a little too fluffy for me. The air conditioner rattled and seemed to have humidity brought in from outside. Room was comfortable and clean. Overall a pleasant stay. Convenient location for our needs while in Lagrange. Price for rooms ate reasonable.

I have to agree with a previous visitor who said: “NO!!! - just no! If you are looking for the Wyndham standard, this is NOT it!!!” They say “never judge a book by its cover”, and this very much applies here. While the hotel looks fine on the outside, the lobby is already more tired looking. Only one of the elevators works. Getting off the elevator on the fourth floor, we were greeted by a pervasive musty smell. The hallway carpets and walls are stained and dirty, the doors scuffed. Same in the rooms. We asked for a room with hardwood floors thinking it would be more hygienic, but as we stepped inside the room, we were met with the same smell, there was dust on the picture frames and lamps and crumbs in the corners, and the walls desperately need a fresh coat of paint. Not all lightbulbs were working. Two stink bugs came out from behind the curtains and we had to extract them from the room. The air conditioning only came on and off sporadically, the air it blew out when it came on had a strong musty smell as if the unit were moldy, and it was hot all night. Was too tired to pack up and ask to be moved to another room but have barely slept a wink. At around 2:30 am other guests arrived on the floor talking in the hallway and now at 3:30 am I can still hear their TV. Could not call the reception from the room as the in-phone room does not work. Went down and spoke to the receptionist who proceeded to come upstairs and start knocking on the door for the room next to us and when no one answered he offered to go into the room and turn the TV off as long as I stood there as a witness. I firmly declined that offer as I would never want hotel staff entering my room in the middle of the night. I have no doubt he meant well, but this was all just beyond strange. This place just needs an overhaul!! As for the breakfast, don’t bother. The only thing palatable was the coffee, juice, cereal and the biscuits.

NO!!! - just no! If you are looking for the Wyndham standard, this is NOT it!!! Hotel looks great on the outside. Lobby is a bit tired and DUSTY!! But pretty standard. But as you go past the front desk and head to the elevator, (not elevators- only 1 works. . .???) - there is an obvious smoking odor!!!! Then there is just simple fixes and cleaning that needs doing. Maybe because I work in hospitality, I hold every place I stay to a higher standard - until my 15 year old son, noticed "how disgusting" the halls and room was. First room, the deadbolt wouldn't engage. Back down got another room, second room was no cleaner or cared for. I mean Wyndham can afford to match their touch up paint, right??? Oh well, 1 night. Never again for me.

The hotel totally needs to be remodeled on the inside. The carpet was dirty and it had a wet floor smell due to an air-conditioning leak.

Hot breakfast bar, clean rooms with hardwood flooring. Scenic view. Indoor/outdoor pool was clean. Check on was simple,yet fast...... Guest service receptionist Michael was awesome and friendly.

We love staying at Wingate by Wyndham LaGrange because of the location (less than.05M from I-85), the room price, and the breakfast is outstanding! The trip was mixed with business, family, and friends.

* Visited the area to attend my mother's funeral, and the AAA discount made pricing reasonable. * Check-in receptionist was only moderately competent, and not particularly welcoming. Our check-in was actually interrupted by another guest returning to the desk to complain that they had been checked into a room that was already occupied! * However, the service staff for room housekeeping, breakfast prep, and common area cleaning were outstanding! * Buffet breakfast was very satisfying and filling. * Room was clean with very efficient temperature controls. * Room small appliances and mini fridge were wonderfully convenient features. * Room furnishings were aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. * Room main door and closest door were not level, and therefore difficult to close. * Only the power & number buttons worked on the TV remote. Navigational arrows to move through the Guide did NOT work. This was very cumbersome and frustrating. * Had to run water in room sink and/or shower for 8 - 10 minutes each time before hot water was available. This was extremely annoying.

Room wasn't ready at 3, which is the check-in time. Rooms were dirty. Doors in the bathroom were rotten.
