Albir Garden Resort

The staff is superb and maintain the environment properly. Just the room furniture is so so but justify the price.

Family of four with 2 young teens, stayed at Albir Garden on 20/8/24. Coach transfer about 90 minutes depending on stops, but mainly in Benidorm. Whilst the exterior on arrival was underwhelming the reception area is fresh, clean and welcoming. Having arrived just before midday after checking in went to the restaurant as rooms wouldn’t be ready until about 3, therefore worth packing your swimmers if you turn up early! The hotel has a main building and lots of small couple storey apartment blocks all over there resort. We stayed in the main building and apart from the restaurant preparing breakfast below we were not disturbed by any other noises. The staff were very helpful and could see the “site team” constantly clearing the grounds, emptying bins, cutting grass, moving deckchairs to ensure everyone had a tidy space to use at all times. The room was basic and could do with a revamp, but had a good size shower albeit pressure was poor, kitchenette and lounge area with dining table and the main bedroom with 2 decent sized beds, we of course also then used the pull out sofa, only down side was that air con only in the lounge and not the bedroom, our balcony view was of the shops opposite but still had space to relax if needed and an area to dry out towels/clothes. The swimming area is made up of three pools, infant pool which is about foot deep and had a small slide, ideal for those who can’t swim but want to splash around, this was also next to the small toilet block. The next pool was approx 1 metre deep all around so most people could stand up happily to play the variety of events throughout the day- aqua dance, volleyball, handball etc. also great for the little ones who can or are learning to swim- this pool did get very busy at times. The main pool starts at 1.56 metres but after a few steps quickly deepens in fact there were about 3-4 spot where I could stand otherwise you are permanently swimming/floating as at its deepest it is 2.7 metres. This meant a lot of people using floats to bob along as with the amount of people you were never going to do lengths of the pool, I managed this early in the morning then joined the float club rest of the day. There was at least 1 if not 2 lifeguards on duty at all times and here is the clincher- the pool is open until midnight when the entertainment finishes and the lifeguards are still on duty until then. The pool is served by 2 outlets, 1 is a traditional bar with all the spirits etc, but also has the slushy machine and the ice creams, a self serve cold water machine was also located here, the other outlet served just beer/sangria and the coke/fanta/sprite machine, here though was the main outside food which had watermelon, pastries, chips, burgers, hotdogs, pizza, waffles and toasties you could even take away a full pizza not just a slice. The sun beds are solid so no sitting position and not too comfortable (buy a cover mat at a local shop for about 7 euros) but there were beds stacked all day, I.

I must say the entertainment team this year are insane, they are the best i cant just pick one they are all amazing. They go out of there way. The hotel is the best i ever stayed 4th year coming and i cant fault it. Food is incredible drinks are amazing. Cant wait booked to go again next year.

Had a amazing holiday, hotel very clean food great staff are truly outstanding and entertainment perfect for families, we had our disabled son and the reception staff reallly took to him we personally would like to thank everyone but EVA you are amazing we can’t thank u enough u helped us so much thank you xx

The Staff were amazing across the whole hotel, especially the animacion (entertainment)! They are brilliant with the children, provide a friendly, fun and safe environment for all ages to enjoy! Night entertainment is great, daytime activities are perfect for the whole family and the multiple facilities and services including bars and restaurants we’re really nice! Close to local attractions, a lovely seafront and constant access to taxis. Couldn’t recommend it more and will be hoping to go back there next year! Very Dated Standard Rooms....Ssme Old Tatty Furnuture As 8yrs Ago...Lack Of Sockets In Kitchenette & Lounge Dissapointing...Waited 48hrs For A Toaster To Be Changed..As 1st 1 Wasnt Working...Cleaned Every 3 days Which Isnt Acceptable ..Ants In Rooms Daily..We Booked Upgraded Room But Thanks To Love Holidays It Wasnt Put On The System ...On A Plus Side The Entertsinmant Staff Were Fabulous..Thats The Only Plus Side

This was an ok stay. We had two kids under 5. We were put in a room beside the stage. Not knowing they had evening entertainment on till 12 every night. We had to be moved rooms as this was so loud are kids couldn't sleep. Staff changed us the next day to further back. (Request this if you won't be staying up till 12 every night). Splash pool was amazing stayed there most days as kids couldn't walk about in the main pools. We went all inclusive, buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, different themes every night. Loads to pick from, staff always friendly in the buffet greeting us. The pool snack bar weren't the friendliest, felt like they got annoyed when you asked them for food or drinks. Or just took ages to come to serve. The food was good though. They just looked miserable, like they didn't want to be there. Other than that life guards great, bar staff and evening house keeping were friendly. Are room seemed more modern that other people's?! (Even when switched) Had a fridge, hob, kettle, toaster, microwave. Clean towels daily. Nice and tidy. Loads of cats about (which was fine). Carefully walking on grass or in the park at the back off the hotel they seem to go to the toilet in the grass and sand . Not much outside the hotel, not much exciting shops. Walked to the beach about 20min away(stone beach). Got the bus outside hotel which took us into benidorm for £2 each about 20min on bus. Went to a sandy beach and did some shopping there.

Just got back from the best holiday ever at this hotel and here's my honest review of the place. Rooms are a little dated however they are clean the maids are in every day cleaning and leaving fresh towels and bed linen when required. The beds are very comfortable even the pull out couch my 6 year old loved his bed. The food was different choices every night, it wasn't always to our choice but you never went hungry there was always an option on something to eat. The pool snack bars are amazing and are always filled with delicious treats to keep you going.beers and cocktails on all inclusive were upto standard and very refreshing. Some staff were amazing and others very rude. The water park was amazing we chilled there alot of the time my kid loved it. The lifeguards are very on the ball in every pool, very friendly and alert the kids were always watched and that's highly important to us. Nicolas Flores and his entertainment team are the very best we have ever seen at any hotel, they worked hard morning to night to keep the kids and the adults entertained. My son who is 6 loved his first foam party and the colour party was amazing too. The team are very energetic and get involved to make sure everyone is having fun.every night there's games and activities on until midnight and during the day there's always plenty entertainment and things to do. All in all we've had a brilliant week and I was very sad to leave and come home today. Thank you to everyone at this amazing hotel. We will definitely be back ❤️👏

In comparison to similar hotels and all inclusive resorts, this has to rank somewhere below average. There are some definite positives, but these can't help to be overshadowed by the negatives. I will start with the positives: The buffet food is generally really good and there are a lot of interesting options that should suit everyone. The animation team do their best to make things as fun as possible. Particular highlights are the aqua-aerobics and the foam party! The pools and aqua park are really good. Always a good thing when the slides will give you a colonic as you speed across the water. The hotel is also in a decent location, not too far from the beaches in case you want a change of scenery. The negatives: Surprise costs for using a travel cot. (May have been a comms error from our agent, but...) No rush to put it up in the room. Had to chase this up with reception at 10pm, who were still reluctant to raise this with the right staff. Even when this was thrown up in our room, it was not made up with bedsheets, so we had to dress the bed as well as deal with a very tired 1 year old. Any small issue was treated like it was our fault. For example, burnt pizza (our problem): no cot in the room (our problem): Issues with orders at the speciality restaurants (our problem): A random child being sick by the bar/pool (our problem). Although the majority of the staff were helpful, it just wasn't the experience you expect from a resort like this. Some of the staff looked and acted like we were such a massive inconvenience, especially the one girl serving at the snack bar. She really, really needs to have some enjoyment in her life. It looks like it hurts her face to smile. The speciality restaurants were not worth the time. The best one was the Mexican. The others, you would be better off staying with the main buffet options. Also, going back to my point about a child being sick by the bar/pool. Having raised this to staff at the bar, pool, maintenance, reception, it still took them over an hour to clean it up. In the meantime it was baking in the afternoon sun and causing a bit of a whiff. Not exactly an attractive sight while you are trying to relax. So on the whole, there are definitely worse places to go. But again there are definitely better. The kids enjoyed it and always had something to do. But I have never felt like such an inconvenience when asking for simple things like I did at this resort. It was a fun week, but we won't be going back.
