High atop and very spacious (over 5,600 sqft), this single story home features 6 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, saltwater pool & cascading waterfall. Breathtaking morning & evening views can be seen from the entire westside of home! Quiet neighborhood and only 5 min from La Mesa Village where you can find great places to shop & dine. We are just a few miles away from everything you want in San Diego: *Mission Trails Regional Park Lake Murray is 3.6 miles away. *Mount Helix is a small trail 4.5 miles away and offers scenic views! *Balboa Park and San Diego Zoo are 9 miles away. *Beautiful Coronado Island is 14 miles away (~20 min drive), great for a family day at the beach! *Drive 20-25 min and you will find the best beaches in CA: Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and Ocean Beach. *Mission Bay and Sea World are ~20 min away (16mi) *Not to mention all restaurants and attractions in Downtown San Diego just 10 miles away. **THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOME** This home is great for one big family or 2 families that are looking to enjoy the great San Diego weather! From the hallway there is a door but the other side of the bedroom is open to the wet room and kids bedroom (bedroom #6). **Access to the kids bedroom (bedroom #6) is through the bedroom #5. Kids bedroom is small and has a door but no window. Living Room has a pull out sofa bed and an ottoman twin bed. Bathrooms description: - Bathroom #1: en-suite master, has a shower and a tub - Bathroom #2: attached to Bedrooms #4 and #5 (shared), has a shower and a tub - Bathroom #3: in hallway not attached to any bedroom, has a shower/tub combo - Bathroom #4: by the kitchen, not attached to any bedroom, has a shower only. There is also a 4 person nook table right next to the kitchen. *Central Heating and Central AC in the bedrooms and mini split in the Living Room + lovely breezes from the opened sliders help keep this home very cool. *Washer and Dryer *Beach/Pool towels *Fire Pit (propane fire pit, be careful when lighting it up) *Propane BBQ *3 cars can park on the driveway and plenty of street parking is available. Garage is not available for guests. *A Pack n Play and a baby booster seat are available Heating is available for the pool for an additional charge and must be hired in advance for the whole stay, please contact us for details. During summer and warmer days, solar panels help keep the water heated as well. The pool is not very deep and is not meant for diving. Please, watch your children closely in the pool, and swim at your own risk. Never let children unattended in the pool area. We have a removable fence that can be placed around the pool. Please request ahead of time if you desire that we set up the fence for your stay. We're 5 minutes from La Mesa Village. The La Mesa Village is the historical center of La Mesa. Many of the surrounding buildings remain as they were in 1912 when the City of La Mesa was incorporated. La Mesa Boulevard features many one-of-a-kind retail shops, antique stores and great places to dine. La Mesa Village business owners place an emphasis on high quality products and personalized, friendly service. Within just five square blocks, you can experience a hassle free shopping experience that puts the malls to shame. Car, Uber or Lyft. You can park your car in the driveway (fits 3 cars). Street parking is also available, you can find a spot easily (make sure to check signs for any parking restrictions). Outdoor Security Cameras: please note we have outdoor cameras facing the pool area, sides of the home and front door. Please inquire before confirming your booking if you're not 100% sure about the space. The description and the pictures were meant to describe it as much as possible, but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask them. *We installed solar pool heating on the property. It helps keeping the pool temperature but please note that the temperatures are at the mercy of the weather with solar. Gas heater is available to further heat the pool for an additional daily charge, please contact us for details. Any tampering with or overriding of our settings will result in a complete loss of the amenity and security deposit forfeiture. Hosts will not be able to provide any refunds for occasional non working pool heating that occur during your stay but we will do our best to have it solved in a timely manner. *Garage is not available for guests. *Attention kids should not be in the master bathroom bathtub without adult supervision. No one should jump when in the bathtub, it can actually tip over and pull all of the plumbing which means it will be flooded. No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible. -Please respect check-in and checkout times.
