Villa Estrella Resort Hotel

A great escape and such a beautiful relaxing place to unwind with friends, family, or even corporate gatherings. We enjoyed their delicious kilawen, fresh wild caught sashimi straight from the South China Sea, and their delicious crispy pata, to name a few. The staff was so polite, we even received a welcome letter which was such a nice way to start our vacation. A 15-20 min drive to San Juan, but this place offers tranquility if you are looking for a quiet getaway - Villa Estrella is your best bet along Bauang. Their lovely garden and beautiful trees keep the place nice and cool, and the option to dine by the sea or garden is also fantastic. Sunsets are beautiful. Rooms are spotless, comfy beds, and large rooms which makes a huge difference. I often find it challenging to fit luggage and be comfortable and in this establishment luggage in your room is not a problem since the rooms are massive. Definitely recommend especially if you are seeking a place that is serene, quiet with excellent food. They also have an indoor pool and a tennis court.

We stayed in Villa Estrella so I could show my kids the different beaches and waterfalls of La Union with their cousin. Rooms were clean and large. Pillows were all fluffy, mattresses new and air conditioning was cold and crisp. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly good with my kids devouring their excellent buttermilk fried chicken several times; ended up taking a whole chicken order for the ride home. Service was good, efficient, yet unobtrusive. Would return for all these things.
