This is just an outstanding place… 5 star quality and 5 star service ! The owner takes care her guests with great passion. The house is about three blocks from the beach. Breakfast is custom made (you get to pick from a list of options). As their name says, you will leave with a smile on your face

The house and the rooms are beautiful, quiet and cozy. Elisabete, the owner is lovely and take care her guests with great passion. She care a lot that you fill confortable. I rest / sleep great! The fix the a delicious and huge breakfast for all my fiends and inclusive with made some sandwiches to eat them in the Camino. From my expidiéndome doing the Camino the Santiago for second time, smiling places is the very best!!!

We have loved our stay here. Very close to the beach, fabulous house, really comfortable and the best breakfast ever. Elizabeth is so welcoming and informative and the chance to sit and chill in her beautiful garden with a glass of wine after the walk is so relaxing

This was an absolutely wonderful stay after my first day walking the Camino Portugués. I don’t have enough words at my disposal to describe how wonderful of a host Elisabete is! She is so warm and welcoming, and exactly what one needs after a day of walking, carrying all your belongings on your back. The facilities were lovely, the breakfast entirely flexible and high quality, and the welcoming beer was perfect. Laundry services and additional beverages are readily available for a small fee. Elisabete even switched over my laundry and brought it up to my room. There is a restaurant a short walk away where you can watch the surf while you eat or perhaps a sunset, as we did. Cannot recommend Smiling Places enough! Please stay here if you have the chance. You’ll see what I mean! And to all the walkers among us, Bom Caminho!

This is a must if you are near Porto! It’s only a 17 minutes drive from the airport. It’s a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the center city Porto. Labruge is a must see seaside town with one of the best seafood I have ever eaten. Our rooms were quaint and charming. The owner Elisabete is so kind and hospital and thoughtful an even more amazing human being! The guesthouse is clean and has all the comforts of your stay. I would highly recommend it!

Excellent quality rooms, very well-kept with amazing cleanliness. Hosts are super friendly, very accommodating, and breakfast service couldn’t be any better. Overall a wholly positive experience. We were on the Camino and alternative routes due to the weather were advised and how to get to the next location. Would definitely recommend.

The place is lovely. Fresh and clean, nice decor The pool was very good after a day on the camino from Porto. The room was of a high standard, the bed was very good, and the bathroom was also of the same quality. Our host made us very welcome and made us a fantastic picnic breakfast for us as we left early. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Estuve hace unos días y es un lugar encantador, lleno de bonitos detalles y estéticamente precioso. Un lugar en el que sentirte como en casa gracias a Fernando, un excelente anfitrión, amable, gentil, y simpatico. El desayuno es también excelente. Un 10/10.
