Uma Casa a Beira Sol

We liked - beautiful grounds with flowers and trees - large rooms. We stayed at a classic suite and it was comfortable - nice staff - great breakfast which was served on our terrace We did not like - not enough sun loungers and the ones that are there are a bit old - looking out in a huge building site. It’s not the hotels fault but a reality of Lagos where there is so much construction work. Sad for the hotel that 2 high rise building are going up next to them. I think the area must have been nice and quiet before. I hope they stop this constant development - being charged 2 euro for a swim towel. Really… that’s a bit weird and should be included - breakfast only starts at 9 which is a bit late as we get up around 7-7.30 Overall it was good. I would maybe stay again if I was back in Lagos

The entire grounds are so serene and beautiful - the gardens and flowers are deserving of 5 stars in themselves! As soon as you step in, it feels like you're in a different world. The room was comfy and had everything we needed - coffee/tea making facilities, a fridge, outdoor terrace, lovely bathroom. If you're looking for a big room to sprawl out, this might not be for you as it's more of a cute, quaint space (which I loved). The A/C is also super quiet and modern, I usually find A/C a nuisance so this was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful (with great recommendations for food places). I would suggest to the owner that you get a bell at reception so guests can alert you if someone happens not to be there. I'd love to return and I'm sure I will in the future - thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Zeer charmant, kleinschalig hotelletje. Zeer rustig, en op wandelafstand van Lagos. Personeel is er op en top vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Tegen dat je ontwaakt is het tafeltje op je terras gedekt, en wordt het ontbijt op het afgesproken uur bij je geserveerd. Kortom, we zijn hier super tevreden! Op toch een klein minpuntje aan te halen: het zwembad is niet verwarmd, maar zorgt zo natuurlijk wel voor de nodige afkoeling 😉

Hübsches, gemütliches Hotel mit wunderschönem Garten und Pool. Jedes der 14 Zimmer ist offenbar individuell im Grundriss und romantisch eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war überschaubar, aber hübsch, ruhig und windstill gelegen. Einen kostenlosen öffentlichen Parkplatz gab es gleich um die Ecke. Das ultrafeine Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe zubereitet und bei genügend Kapazität auch auf die eigene Terrasse gebracht. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und supernett, besonders die fürs Frühstück verantwortliche Dame war herzlich, witzig und hochprofessionell zugleich. Die tollsten Felsstrände liegen quasi um die Ecke und die Altstadt ist ebenfalls in rund 20 Gehminuten erreichbar. Uns hats gefallen.

corona hat wohl auch hier seine spuren hinterlassen. gurzum wir haben das geld in den sand gesetzt und sind kurzerhand wieder abgereist. gottseidank haben wir dann noch eine für uns entsprechende unterkunft gefunden. mein tipp, lassen sie die finger davon !
