having completed a strenuous walk we decided to eat calories for late lunch. Oder 1, Fish finger sandwich and chips. Order 2 Whitebait and sweet potato fries. Orsde 2 arrived. Sweet potoato fries hard, over cooked, inedible. Wightbait was going coilod while I politley waited for my friends lunch to arrive. 10 mins passed no order 1. I then got up to find out where order 1 was. Sat down and waited. Nothing 20 mins had passed. Got up friend asked for her money back. This took a while to sort out. Manager had to be found. We waited for an aopolgy. it was not forthcoi8ng. So I suggested an applogy might be a good idea. The mangaer said. " I can't apologise because I was in a meeting so I don't know what happened" SO, if he didn't know what happened what was he giving a refund. I have expereinced a lot of appaling service on the Island but this was lower then even my worst expectations.

Great location, room clean and comfortable. Very quiet so a good sleep was had by both of us. Plenty of free parking. Shop and takeout in walking distance together with a local pub. Stayed for 3 nights had a wonderful time. Great value. Highly recommend. Planning to revisit very soon.

My dad had the best night's sleep on the mattress. He found the pillows excellent, but he had trouble getting up onto the bed lol. I had a great sleep on the sofa bed. Daniel moved our room closer to reception, cos he spotted my oxygen. Excellent

Very friendly staff. I didn’t have any problems during my stay that I had to go and speak to someone, but they were coming to check to see if everything was ok and giving useful information. Daniel Marshal thanks for the good customer service.

Stay at that a site for business at least 3 times a month and it is always great. The staff are amazing always happy and remember you, even down to what you drink with dinner in the evening. Rooms are always clean and the parking is free. The menu for dinner could do with being bigger especially when you stay for period of time.

We had a very pleasant stay at this Premier Inn. The staff were very nice and catered for all of our needs. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our wholesome breakfast, very tasty and good value for money. We fully recommend this Premier Inn and will certainly be returning here on our next visit to the Isle of Wight.

Great location to explore the island, and with a Premier Inn you basically ge what you pay for. The nearby Aldi and Morrisons are handy if you forget to bring something with you, KFC and a pub are also just across the road. The beds and pillows though could do with an upgrade, very soft I asked for firmer pillows and staff were prompt to oblige. When we were there the establishment was being used lots of tradesmen no doubt on the island to prepare it for the upcoming Summer season or working on the various building sites in the town. Staff were very helpful and friendly, free car parking was also a bonus (just make sure to check your car in on the console/iPad in reception)

Very comfortable bed, but some of the 'extras' we expected in our premier plus room were.not there - no chocolates or waters and the fridge was very warm (we tried to cool it, but it made no difference). Bath was very high which made it hard to climb in and out of - I have strained my back. Staff were friendly and welcoming, key cards kept failing and the team struggled to make other cards work! The key system needs upgrading / investment.

Firstly, if I could give 4.5 stars, I would. The staff are an absolute asset to this hotel. The chef was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent both continental and cooked. The room was clean and comfortable. This is my only criticism and the staff have no control over this... There is absolutely no ventilation. The windows are fixed panels and the air vents only go down to 19C then switch off. The room was stifling and stuffy. Also concerning for escape if there was a fire. Premier Inn senior management need to get these issues sorted.
