Bluegreen Vacations Christmas Mountain Village, an Ascend Collection Resort

Booked my promo booking and paid additional to upgrade to 2 bedroom 2 months in advance. Called and confirmed the booking 1 month in advance before purchasing event tickets at the local attractions. They call me 5 days before check in to inform me they cannot accommodate ADA. And cannot refund because it is past 30 days from purchase. They wanted me to reschedule for 2 weeks out and hope my event tickets could get refunded with this 5 day notice. CSR stated maybe if I use my member points I can get an ADA accommodation for this same weekend we originally booked with the promo. Ended up canceling the reservation and booking a room at a local motel that can accommodate a person in a wheelchair and guarantee it. DO NOT RECOMMEND BOOKING PROMO STAY they will let you know you are beneath the members paying with points and you can do nothing about it.

I'd like to preface this by saying I did not go to this resort. This is not a review about the resort itself but moreso about the company Bluegreen Vacations. I purchased a 3 night package at a Cabelas event being promised a lot of great things. When it came time for booking, none of those things were apparent. When I came to the decision to get a refund within my 90 days, I sat on hold for about 30 minutes before I spoke to someone. During that time, the rep tried to make me feel stupid for not moving forward with the package I purchased and tried to get me to change my mind for about 10 minutes. After I told him I was not going to change my mind, you can tell he got upset then put me on hold. I'm still waiting on hold... it's been about 45 minutes. Terrible customer service and will never purchase from this company. I'm sure the Christmas Mountain Village is solid - people in WI seem to be great when I've visited but the customer service team at corporate is terrible.

Great location, great staff and very nice resort. Everything at the resort. We used the restaurant, pickle ball courts, fitness center and golf rental. Had to call maintenance 5 times but they responded quickly and took care of all our issues. Will definitely be back.

Christmas Mountain has some beautiful units. However to charge a resort fee when the outside pools are not open is ridiculous. Homeowners at the resort are not charged the fee.

Great place people are so friendly a d eager eager to help. The units are great ours had a gas fireplace which in the winter after a day of skiing would be a welc ome site.

Amazing staff and comfortable beds were the best things about the stay. Outdated uncomfortable, living room furniture made it difficult to relax after a day of activity
