Front desk was friendly and helpful. Strong chemical smell in lobby and hallways. Floors in lobby and elevators needed cleaning, even though there was always a “wet floor” sign in both elevators every time we used them. The lady who worked breakfast was very pushy and telling people she had to work since 3AM to prepare breakfast. Room was average. Overall decent hotel for a small town.

We found this hotel at the last minute and it turned out to be a gem! Not only was it clean, it was modern and very comfortable and the staff was outgoing and friendly, especially the manager. How refreshing! We travel this route frequently and will certainly plan to stop here again.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful from the time we walked in. The rooms here are super clean and comfortable with a large shower full of quality soaps and shampoos. The breakfast was eggs and sausage and gravy with oatmeal and cereal and it was delicious. I had a fantastic workout in their gym that included floor mats/padding and a complete dumbell rack as well as bikes and treadmills. The pool here was clean and warm. A really great hotel to stay at I would recommend it and definitely come back!

This is our second stay at this hotel. The staff is pleasant and breakfast was good. Our only concern is that the floor in our room was dirty. The bathroom floor especially needed to be vacuumed and mopped. Otherwise, a good stay. The hotel is convenient to the interstate.

Nice HI Express. It’s new, clean and well taken care of. Provides typical HI Express breakfast and the staff is super friendly and attentive. I want to especially point out that the person in charge of breakfast was super lively, friendly and totally went the extra mile to ensure everyone was taken care of. She was extremely respectful in the way she handled stragglers as she attempted to close the breakfast area. So refreshing to see her so happy dealing with people instead of how most attendants are other hotels, including HI Express’. I didn’t get her name, but management will know…please congratulate her and treat her well. Great employees are hard to come by.

This was one of the most welcoming Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at. They had Valentines decorations up in the lobby area. The room was exceptionally clean. The morning breakfast preparation and staff really made our day. I highly recommend this as a top choice.

This hotel was a genuine relief after searching the internet for an affordable, clean and comfortable hotel. It deserves 5 stars all the way. The breakfast was exceptional, with lots of choices. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. The breakfast staff was friendly, helpful, and hospitable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Upon arrival, before typical check in time and with two kiddos that needed the bathroom, we we greeted with smiles and understanding. I didn’t catch her name but she checked us in while I took my littles to the bathroom. We later asked about a local restaurant we had seen a sign for and she and the other front desk staff went above and beyond to share experiences and suggestions as well as giving us a complete list of local food establishments. (Try The Fish Net!). Upon check out the same front desk team inquired on our travels for the day and invited us back to visit a local theme park next time. Such wonderful personable staff!! The room was also great, clean and inviting. Beds were comfortable as was the pull out bed. Pool was great as was breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

While traveling south we booked a night here. The front desk associate was very pleasant and helpful and check-in was a breeze. The room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfy! The next morning our breakfast was very tasty with many options. My only complaint was the fitness room was closed, due to some bad weather issues. But, we liked our stay so much we booked another night when head north!
