Exceptional services, staff, facilities and dining. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect location to celebrate our anniversary. The couples get-away was perfect.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt so warm and welcoming—thanks in large part to Steph at Mirror Lake for organizing a special getaway for a family reunion. We absolutely loved every minute: kayaking on the lake was peaceful and so much fun, the s’mores by the fire made our nights extra cozy, and the staff truly went out of their way to make us feel at home. The whole trip felt like the perfect mix of relaxation and small-town charm. It was one of those vacations we’ll be talking about for a long time. We are already dreaming about coming back.

I’ve stayed at the MIrror Lake Inn a number of times. It is always a treat. The rooms are rustic, but beautiful. The best part of the resort is the staff. They are exceptionally well trained. Very accommodating, helpful and great at what they do.

This was a friend’s trip to get away ..My father had just passed away and this was also a bucket list item for me. I’ve always been fascinated by Mirror LakeLake Inn and always wanted to see the inside of it. It’s very old and Adirondackie. We had a nice view from my room and was relaxing. The beds were not comfortable. We did not eat there. We dined at few other places that we knew in Lake Placid. Was too cold to use the pools that evening Was perturbed that the establishment is advertised as AAA rated but yet they do not honor AAA.. You’re basically paying for the ambience there which is of course nice but would I stay there again, probably not. Many other nice hotels in Lake Placid for much better prices

Beautifully situated on Mirror Lake with exquisite landscaping and mass plantings of gorgeous flowers, the inn is within walking distance of the restaurants and cute shops of Lake Placid. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Just couldn’t get over the old dark hallways and dated room. We spent most of our time outside.

There is no place I love as much as the Mirror Lake Inn. From the gorgeous Adirondack decor, to the incredibly kind and accommodating staff and e enjoyed every moment of our stay in the Presidential Suite. It is a perfect room for large families with the addition of the adjoining room. Our kids loved the bunk beds. The sauna in our room was an amazing respite after skiing. Being able to get our skis, poles and boots at the Inn before going to the mountain saves so much time and energy. The cookies at the front desk are the best. The food overall is amazing. We looked forward to flapjacks and hot chocolate in the morning, and dinner The View was impeccable. Dinner at the cottage is also a true cozy delight. The Brussels sprout salad is amazing. This hotel is so family friendly. Great food for kids, accommodating staff, checkers in the library and oversized chess in the yard are some of our favorite things. We will be going annually for years to come.
