Stayed at the Fleece on Saturday 8th March after celebrating my Husbands Birthday The buffet they provided was amazing and plentiful. Our room was perfect very spacious and squeaky clean! Couldn’t fault it Thank you we will be back all the staff were amazing and very attentive

Delightful place to stay, full of character - room was ground floor, very comfortable and spacious. Bar area was lively and full of locals which was great to see. Food was excellent - menu was varied and offered really good quality produce - we all eat something different - and all enjoyed every morsel. Staff were fantastic - quick, efficient and helpful - made us feel very welcomed. They have a little shop inside, selling local produce and craft which is a great idea - bought the morning paper so a big bonus. Couldn’t fault a thing. Will definitely go back as we travel up to Lancaster several times a year.

Me and my partner stayed for valentine’s night, the whole experience from start to finish was excellent, the food was amazing beautiful room, staff were brilliant made us feel so welcome, the service and stay was faultless, we will definitely be back for another stay, we would definitely recommend a visit here.

Exemplary food. Very best service. We lived very nearby a few years ago but returned today for a Christmas visit and it was so good. Very efficient service. Food SO good. Lovely atmosphere in the bar after such a good meal. Hugely attentive and friendly service. Child friendly.

Beautiful county pub. All the staff were really friendly and the food in the restaurant was amazing. It’s in the middle of nowhere so very tranquil and lots of places to go for nice walks. The rooms could do with some minor updates but the bed was really comfortable. We enjoyed it so much we’ve booked again for next month

A lovely clean comfortable room, nicely decorated with a good sized bath. We had an enjoyable evening meal in the bar and a delicious breakfast. The only downside was that our room was next to the dining area so was quite noisy. And Otherwise a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay, very friendly welcome, as free a long trip, we had amazing food, a very comfy room meant a great nights sleep! The breakfast was generous and very well prepared. Thank you to the team if we’re passing again we will definitely stay.

We love this pub and have stayed a few times. It's lively and fun and the bedrooms are perfect, the service is very good but we found the food to be very ordinary this time. We would love some local ingredients to be on the menu like Morecambe Bay Prawns, local Lancashire cheese (maybe a soufflé?) a Lancashire hotpot? Just a thought! We will still always stay when travelling from London to Aberdeen because we love the ambience and the outdoor seating areas and the staff etc etc.

First visit to the Fleece Inn and having now been there , it certainly will not be the last . the staff were very friendly and made you very welcome . I would like a wee mention relating to Daniel . He is from Germany , speaks excellent English and in my opinion a credit to the company / establishment .
