Whipstock Guest Farm

My husband and I travelled in celebration of our 10th anniversary. We had the privilege to spend a night at Whipstock. The scenery is breath taking, and the cottage was clean and neat. Thank you, Sindy for your hospitality and sharing a bit of paradise with us.

We were three friends celebrating a 50th birthday and were fortunate to stay at the standalone cottage. What an experience. Two century old farm and extremely friendly and helpful host. Nothing to complain about.

Very accommodating hosts, well equipped, very comfortable with lots to do, beautiful surroundings and a lovely place to stay.

We loved our stay at Whipstock Farm. The drive out there seemed a bit long, but it was so worth it. A beautiful piece of property with solitude, mountain views, a duck pond, orchards, and lots of birds, with a few cats thrown in! We stayed in the barn cottage; perfect for a couple with lots of character and charm. There was a kitchen with a 2 burner stove and lots of cutlery and dishes. The bathroom was large with a beautiful tub and a view of the mountains. A wood burner stove with a generous amount of wood kept us warm. Sindy was the best! She gave us a tour of the grounds and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Dinner and breakfast were fresh, delicious and served in front of a blazing fire. We appreciated the quiet and the beauty of the farm and wished we had more time to spend exploring the area Thank you Sindy, for making our stay at Whipstock so special.

An awesome weekend with hikes and cycling planned in the area. We self catered with a group of 10 and had everything we need and great hospitality from our host Sindy

Loved staying here. Sindy was super friendly and efficient . I would love to go back. I would post photos but TA won't allow it. We stayed in the Winterfield cottage, which was lovely and a stone throw away from McGregor. Heritage cottages and Sindy provided plenty of wood for the fireplace.

Excellent and friendly service provided by Sindy. She helped us navigate our way to the farm, avoiding numerous road closures because of flooded roads. She was super welcoming upon arrival and had the Winterfield cottage warmed and ready for us. She also gave us a tour of the rest of the farm, including the lounge and the pub. It is truly a beautiful farm with heritage cottages. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and Sindy provided plenty of wood for the indoor fire. I would recommend taking your own towels if you prefer a bigger towel.

Great discovery of a sudden gem. Sindy is very accommodating, the rustic farm appeal is full of character and charm. Will stay here again.
