The Daun Resort Langkawi recensioner

This place is really nice. The chalets are all made of wood and great aesthetics. The first night water was dripping from the air conditioner but on notifying the staff the next day they fixed it immediately. For the budget the rooms were really nice with comfy beds. They refilled our water bottles whenever we requested. Close to the beach and main high street markets. Cabs are easily available via Grab app. Would recommend this place.

So helpful staffs. Even though we didn't like the 1st booking room as my kids are not safe for river side water the next they manage us to shift in new room and that was awesome with the same rate of $$. I highly recommend for this resort. Thank you The daun resort for 3days safe home. Will definitely book on next trip.

Breakfast was limited. We spent 3 days with the same meal, not responsive, and very slow service. Arrange your own breakfast. Breakfast at Daun is not recommended . There is no cafe at the hotel. Very far from the beach and the main market. Overall, it was average

A little cosy resort located away from the hustle and bustle of tourist spots. Located along a Malay village, The Daun offers a traditional style accommodations to the guests. Bed was comfy but room was pretty warm in the daytime. Soundproofing is not there between guest rooms. Literally could here whatever that was happening from the neighbouring rooms at night. Food was ok but not too vegetarian friendly. In a nutshell, The Daun is a good choice for those who prefers cozy, classic yet good value for money accommodation.

It’s neat and clean, it was a decent experience.

Yes this is wonderful and quirky yet quaint retreat. It’s location is near Pantai Cenang, but away from the busy lifestyle. It’s easily accessible to restaurants and cafe. Just 10 mins away from the airport. The owner had put in very detailed decos, which depicts his warmth personality and hobbies. This is not your usual five star resort, but a boutique resort with its own identity. Renting a car or scooter is convenient for the adventurous to discover hidden gems of Langkawi island. Breakfast was basic and simple as there’s variety of food choices to choose according your own palate scouting for cafes. The resort has no pool, only walking distances to beach. One will appreciate the simplicity of quietness for a nice retreat at the riverside. However the chalet rates offered was value for money, suitable for adults. We will be looking forward to our future stays at The Daun Resort.
