We loved staying in these apartments and the location is amazing we were in apartment 16 very close to the front/beach. We had a superior one bedroomed apartment. It was cleaned and towels changed regularly. Only thing is there is an outside courtyard between the living area and bedroom/bathroom and our son’s bed was in the living area so he was a little anxious at first and we had to leave the living room door open so he still felt close to us. My only other small negative is ants it wasn’t rife with them and only in the living area/kitchen but we found them on the kitchen side, on the sofa and near the front door so that definitely needs sorting but other than that the pool was just outside our room we had our own 3 sunbeds it was great you could always get in the pool and always get a sunbed round the pool it was great. We have booked to go back next year to these apartments, we love this resort it’s so clean, beach is amazing and you feel really safe and everything is on your door step, a spar supermarket and the shopping centre with bars, restaurants and shops etc you really don’t need to walk anywhere else. It’s a 5/10 minute walk to the back of the airport where you can watch the planes coming in and taking off. Me and my family love it here would definitely recommend.

Love a family holiday with no stress! Minutes from the airport I just waited for a taxi (€10) arrived early before check in, got free coffees in block 3’s pool whilst waiting and kids changed into their swimming gear and jumped in the pool. When we got the call we were give the keys to too block 4 room 25. Great apartment, very clean, lots of space and 30sec walk to the beach! I walked to Playa Honda to do a shop in Lidl for the 10 days a day got a taxi back m, and topped up with other bits from the local Spar! Pool area nice, kids were safe and space and clean, no fights for sunbed!s! Will be returning,!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. This time we booked a superior apartment just to be closer to the beach. We were allocated a room overlooking the pool in Block 3. The apartment we had been allocated last time in Block 8 was much nicer. The apartment in block 3 is desperately in need of a refurb. The shower was over the bath and it was not nice. The shower head was rusty and looked like it was about to fall off. The bath was disgusting. The patio was much smaller than the one we had in Block 8 and you had to pull the sunbeds out next to the pool as there wasn’t enough room for 2 sunbeds and the table. The sunbeds were not nice and needed a good clean or better still replacing. On arrival you are given a voucher for a free coffee at Block 4. It was closed on the day we arrived so we were told we could use them the next day. When we tried to open the door to the bar it was locked and we were shooed away!! Didn’t bother going back! The pool was absolutely freezing. Very disappointing and not worth the money we paid. Fortunately we love Matagorda and Puerto del Carmen so had a good holiday.

lucky to be in block 1 right on the beach. sadly the bungalow was very tired and in dire need of a refurb, pool was very cold so spent most days on the beach with is lovely, some very nice restaurants in the area. would go back but not to these bungalows.

We have stayed at the apartments previously and had a great time, the apartments are clean and well located. On this occasion not as good as my wife had a pair of expensive training shoes stolen from under the bed. The apartment staff spent days defending there cleaning staff when in reality there was simply no other person who could have taken them. This spoilt our holiday, please be careful if leaving anything of value lying around.

In response to my review Vince the owner said they tried to contact me this never happened Vince also stated that any food not eaten is questioned that didn’t happen I gave an honest review of a poor experience and Vince responded with saying I was contacted and I refused to discuss this is also intrue

What can I say!! Just the most relaxing environment. I stayed in block 2, it was a lovely clean, well presented apartment. Everything you could ever need, cleaned 5/7 and towels also. Staff were so friendly. Your own terrace and little garden I had sun all day long. It was peaceful and the surrounding area is also quiet and very clean. Restaurants around do some amazing food too. I shall be back next year Las Gaviotas, you hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for doing what you do.

Great wee bungalows. (We never used the pool we were in block 7 and having our own sun beds we never felt the need to sit beside the pool). The WiFi was good, and the staff are lovely, always with a smile, acredit to the company. Really close to the beach and amenities at Matagorda commercial centre for a meal, a carry out , shopping, or a little beverage 😉. For plane spotting it’s perfect.. right beside the airport approach.. recommend walking down to watch them landing.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, so helpful and friendly. We stayed in block 3, lovely apartment very clean and right next to the pool bar. We had a problem getting into our apartment on the first night and asked reception for help. In a matter of minutes Gustavo came and helped us! Milena on reception was just lovely, very friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, we will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely holiday!
