Friendly staff, comfortable bed, great location. Would definitely reccomend.

Hotel muy bueno. Super bien situado. Personal muy amable. Habitaciones de tamaño justo. Nos tocó camas separadas, casi todas las habitaciones son así pero puedes pedir que aún siendo camas individuales las unan. La playa está muy cerca a 100 m. Transporte público abundante y barato.

Muy bien todo.

Fijn verblijf. De kamer was schoon en strak. De dame bij de receptie was vriendelijk en gaf tips over de omgeving.

Sehr nette Gastgeber! Wir durften schon 2 Stunden früher aufs Zimmer und auch nach dem auschecken die schöne Dachterrasse mit Sonnenliegen nutzen. Die Ausstattung ist generell recht neu und hochwertig. Top Lage mit Strandnähe und nahe dem großen Hafen - kann man ideal mit einer Kreuzfahrt verbinden. Die Zimmer sind groß und Frühstück mit genug Auswahl und lecker!

This winter, I stayed twice at the Doña Luisa, once with my father and once by myself. We had a great time! The hotel opened in 2017, and the facilities are well maintained so everything is in good condition. My room was clean, very nice, well lit and designed with fair colours. It was spacious for a three-star and really offers four-star comfort and amenities. Many four-stars nearby don’t even come close with their worn-out rooms. The room came with fast, unlimited and reliable wifi. Logging in takes a while as the system asks a thousand questions. There were sockets at the desk and bedside tables so charging your devices was easy. The bed was comfortable. There was a safe, a fridge, a luggage rack and ample closet space. A 0.5 L bottle of water was provided on arrival, not replenished. The bathroom came with a walk-in shower, with good water pressure both in the overhead as well as the handheld shower. The bathroom had with several amenities usually seen in first-class hotels, such as a razor, a toothbrush etc. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and they spoke excellent English at reception. Breakfast was served in the breakfast room in the basement daily from 7 to 10:30 and cost 8 euros, which is a fair price. The buffet had several hot and cold options, including melon and serrano ham, eggs fried, boiled and scrambled, vegetables, cold cuts, cheeses, breads, cakes etc. The hotel enjoys an excellent location a block from Las Canteras beach and a short walk away from Santa Catalina park, with lots of shopping and dining opportunities close by. There is a Spar supermarket 100 meters from the hotel.

It’s not cheap enough for the lack of quality and service. Was visiting with 2 kids and had reserved a room with two beds. When arriving there was only one bed and at the reception they could not provide sheets for us. Furthermore coffee and water was only available on day one and the cream was rotten and way out of date. Breakfast was included but of really bad quality. Only plus is that it is near to the beach. I choose this hotel because of the good reviews here on Tripadvisor but I really am disappointed.

There is a supermarket 100 meters from the hotel. The location couldn’t be better!

Terrific value - recommended Stayed one week. Good location, only 10 mins from cruise terminal and a level walk to bus station Euro2.80 per person to airport, buses depart from Las Palmas 15 mins and 45 mins past the hour. (Taxi about Euro 30) Great sun terrace although some mattresses would improve the comfort of the sun loungers! More drawers in wardrobes would be a good addition too. Breakfast quite good but perhaps more variation in hot dishes would be welcome by other guests. If possible some quieter door closures would be a courtesy to other sleeping guests. Very fast wi-fi , we had as requested a quiet room on the 6th floor with prompt lift access. Spotlessly clean clean and quiet throughout. Receptionist Irene is a credit to her employer for helpfulness and providing translations. Manager Hose also an excellent communicator especially with prompt email exchanges before visiting the hotel. Hose even helped with our luggage on departure.

Modern hotel set on a side street just 100m from the excellent beach & promenade. We stated 7 nights on a bed & breakfast basis. The room was large with very nice bathroom and included tea/coffee facilities, air con and safe. The double bed was two large singles together which is now unfortunately more common throughout Europe but we loved the crisp white cotton sheets and the two different types of pillow. Our room was on the 5th floor to the front over looking the street but we had minimal noise. The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas and we had fresh towels each day. There was a sun terrace on the top floor with modern sun loungers available. Breakfast was sufficient with an acceptable level of choice but I would have liked the three hot choices to be cooked more often as they can sit in a hot tray for a prolonged period. All of the staff were excellent in manner and efficiency. The new shopping centre at the end of the promenade is within walking distance and there is a second shopping centre available 1000m at the opposite end of the hotel street from the beach where the cruise liners dock. This a great value hotel in an outstanding location with fantastic access to the promenade (flat location) and beach, highly recommended for a winter break, we shall return.
